\nI was in a casino in Biloxi a few months ago, when a funny thing happened. We sometimes use dice that are glued together at home in practice to check our grip; and sometimes we say that the dice appeared to be glued together on a toss at the casino when they travel through the air very close together, spinning in unison.<\/p>\n

\tTo continue on with the Biloxi experience, I was playing early in the morning on a table by myself when I took a drink from a cold bottle of water. Since I was the only player at the table, the dice came back very quickly between throws. For whatever reason, I did not wipe the condensate from the water bottle from my hand completely, leaving some condensate on my fingertips. As I set the dice, I accidentally got some of the condensate on the die faces that butts together. So, when I tossed the dice, to my surprise they were \u201cglued\u201d together literally. This startled me to the extent that I didn\u2019t even notice the end result. I quickly looked at the box and at the dealers, who of course, were watching the dice carefully. Again, to my surprise, no one noticed anything out of the ordinary \u2013 or at least they didn\u2019t say anything. Has anybody had a similar experience? And why was it not noticed or mentioned?<\/p>\n

Hmm. So, I should find a liquid that lasts 1 second and then evaporates immediately. So many possibilities, but certainly cheating and illegal.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

It would interesting to try, but getting the cold water on your fingers also messes with your grip and release offsetting any gain on "gluing" the dice with moisture. We should never be grabbing our drinks with our throwing hand.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I would love to hear what you thought about your first tss with them . It was kind of a shock for me when I did it but they do look better after awhile tho .

It worked. I have incorporated it into my practice time. The dice glued together helped me with my delivery and allowed me to see if I was landing flat.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I like the tables at Mohegan Sun close to the waterfall, because the air is so humid there that it gives my fingers just enough moisture to keep the dice from slipping out of my fingers.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Good observation, cold rooms with a high humility and new sharp dice helps, but regardless, your grip and delivery is very important. Since its hard enough being an advantage player, I would not repeat this activity since they will use any excuse to take the dice away from us. <\/p>\n

Applying anything to the dice is cheating. Taking the dice away from you is the least of your worries. That can get you thrown in jail.<\/p>\n

NFF is correct stay away from any idea of putting anything on the dice but your dry fingers. We are advantage players not cheaters and its a felony and you really don’t want to find yourself playing cee-lo with bubba \ud83d\ude2f .<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I should emphasize that the condensate from the water battle ACCIDENTALLY ended up on the die faces that stuck together – I didn’t do it on purpose. I agree that I need to be more careful in the future.<\/p>\n
