I stayed two comped nights at the woods in Connecticut last week. There are two tables across from the main room past the escalator that has been fully remodeled with a high limit slots room, card tables, and the craps tables. Only one table is open most of the time and is always filled with locals.
In the main room there are four tables with one or no tables open on a Wednesday/Thursday. The high limit room still has two crap tables with one having been moved toward the back of the card tables for private high limit craps. The table in the back was reserved when I checked it out.
Down the hall is the stadium games with a new craps table with stadium play individual consoles. I like the table. Throw it with back spin straight to the wall. Shooting the dice is rotated around between all the players sitting and betting at the game consoles.
New bubble craps consoles have been added in the same area. I always dismissed bubble craps but started reading that people were making money.
I usually play roulette with live dealers in the stadium area. Bubble craps pulled me in. I stayed in the stadium area for the two nights playing until midnight. I played the don’t and the pass line and come bets.
I bought in for one hundred and cleared five hundred and seven hundred trying to get up to one thousand. I played a bit manic and too fast of a pace. I started with five dollar bets and started betting one hundred bets but the seven bit me in the ass.
I played a short session on a live dealer roulette table and quickly doubled my hundred and walked away when they changed dealers. To sum it up I like bubble craps. I originally planned to play craps in the mornings at the other casino when the sun came up but slept all morning after breakfast rather than fetch the car out in the cold.
I feel that the casino is placing dealers on roulette tables more rather than craps because people really like roulette at this location.
The Seabrook New Hampshire casino has a really good live dealer stadium game setup too. These two are the best that I have found in the country. Let me know if you find good games at locations I have not visited.
