They have been training the dealers to pressure the players to bet more money. We were on the way out to the garage when I spotted my favorite table and stick right position open. I decide to play a horn bet on the come out. The dealer is trying to get me to play a world. I explain to him I don’t roll sevens. After a little fun banter back and forth I roll a two. The second roll established six as the point.
I bet the odds on the six and bet the hard six. I throw the dice a third time and roll a hard six. Everyone is impressed. I look at the suit standing behind the box and we grin at each other. When I severed out I just colored up and continued on to the exit. As Jackie Gleason said, “How Sweet It Is”.

@cotton-lob I’m pretty sure they train the dealers to push those bets. Glad you made some cash on the way out the door! Hit and RUN..

First I have to say that I took the class a long time ago and betting was not talked about much . Bet your edge period .
The world bet is a high 30% edge for the house as is the horn bets or close to it . I bet the world as you say you don’t throw 7s . Were on my last trip I had a roll with 9 7s in a row . Told the dealers this is a hard way to win money . I also had a roll one time were I rolled 17 numbers before Est. a point then a6 and then a 7 out . On the come out it is an insurance bet but the any crap is a smaller bet .
Good Rolling.
