Craps

I witnessed a beautiful tool of the dice the other day.

Spread the love

I waited for two or three hours to get on a table down at Plymouth Rock this past week. Three tables out of six open. Shoulder to shoulder with regulars.

I decided to use my points and have a burger to start out. After eating I sat at a slot machine to get the juices running. My friend had showed me a method to play these machines before so I went at it. I used her method on my  previous visit which resulted in two wins of $200 each within a few minutes on two different machines of the same name.

Well this time I played the same game and won $500 within a few spins.

This made me feel better since I lost $100 on my way down when I stopped in sea brook for Roll to Win.

I finally get on stick right by the hook. Bouncy ten footer maybe. After some time a fella walks up and I witness a stick left shooter throw dice like any Golden Touch shooter should throw them. I have not seen such superb shooting since Dr Crapology  or the Dominator. Or myself . yuk-yuk

The only problem with this beautiful toss was it was too high for this bouncy table. this guy was gone as fast as he arrived. Those dice stuck together with back rotation like no other. If he was trying to show off and impress me he did. I think a tear came out of one eye. If Dominator had witnessed this he would have wept with joy.

My message to that guy is sign up for a refresher class because you were all flash. Too high.

As for my game? I was repeating the same numbers but the dice were unforgiving. You had to be precise. They rolled back together and stopped when right.              This table is shorter than the others and has not opened when I visited since before the Covid. I really don’t think I played it any at all then.

The dice felt like they were dirty or clinging to my fingers from the humidity. I wished I had some corn starch. I slid my fingers to the top with hardly any contact.           The air conditioning was not blowing like my prior visit.

People were going through $5000 at a time. They kept pulling out stacks still wrapped from the bank and throwing it down for more chips. Players were trying to play the Don’t but lost.  The dealers felt the desperation and mumbled under their breath when we won.   When the dust cleared I was out $1500. I left my bank home so I will return and win that back. I will probably avoid that table in the future.

Cotton lob, what was your buy in? How many times did you get the dice? Did you come bet & use the 5 count during your session.

@cotton-lob Completely agree.  Fun to watch a nice shot. At least you made some on that SLOT.   I do like to play the RTW to warm up.   Those bouncy tables are hard to get right, I usually just move on to better conditions but realize getting certain positions is not always easy.  Our RTW table is located close enough to the regular table that I can play it and keep an eye out for SL1.

Go get em next TRIP.

I have visited  this location enough to remember shooters from the last six years in the northeast casinos. I see a guy and remember  he shoots a lot of nines as an example. I know the other guy is a gambler and not a shooter. My bank has grown from $50 bucks back when I started back in 2015 to $5000.. But I still refuse to risk the whole thing with these tables. My bank was $10,000 in 2020 but I spent a night in the hospital with Covid symptoms that turned out to be absolutely nothing.-$3000.

Then of course house projects. LOL

@high-arc  It was a twenty-five dollar table but went in with $100. I went heavy with the odds. I waited to get the dice and bet on myself. I lost $500 on other shooters. It was a shit show.

The tables were better before Covid. I played every other Friday. The location in Vegas had playable tables back when I was in town for Golden Touch Class in Henderson.2019 . I remember the concrete convention was in town. Full table, I was the only shooter. Had the dice three times and rolled for fifty minutes each time.

I think the last time was probably more like thirty minutes because I started to get heat from the BOX and I had a buzz on.  I made enough to pay everything off and take my wife back the following month. But this Casino raised the table rail higher by the time I returned the following month. They didn’t like losing. They still don’t like losing. And this is what they do on the East Coast. I actually had a guy making me a pair of shoes with a three inch lift to beat the raised table. And i’m 5’11”.

Its not the table height or yours its the long arms you have . I use to be 5 ft. 6 but now am 5ft. 3 . but my arms are just as long as before .

I stopped going to a casino for the reason you said . I could not reach my come bets .

Good Rolling.
