This trip was like my first visit in 2019. This time I stayed south of the big fountain.
My room was in a Condo building named Palms Place. There is a fitness room, pool, Valet service, two refrigerators, deep tub, shower, security.
Valet was so good that he had my car waiting when he figured out my routine. I would wake early and be gone for the morning, rest and do it all over in the afternoon. Of course I tipped these guys . Good service isn’t for free.
I drove all the way south past the airport. Two tables with one table only open on one side. Five guys wanted to play. Baloney. I left right away and drove a few miles north and played the big place. A lot going on. Got my milk shake and burger here.
Played here two different days and won on the same slot $$ machine both days. People here play the DON’T like I have not seen since playing up in Maine. I had the dice all the time. No one wanted to shoot. LOL Pretty busy poker room in the back. Reminding me that I had good fish and chips by the poker room. Starbucks coffee.
I had a good unplanned Craps game at the place know for past poker tournaments. I was the darling at the table. The dealers were ok. $15 tables
I had a Chinese clay pot tofu and seafood that was good to sleep on. I was staying across the street so it was an easy drive back. I have never felt safe in this place day or night.
The fountain Casino was swarming with people. Really big shooters at this place. Big money betting. This is my 2nd visit to this place. I have not figured out the tables. Two team players revealed a possible favorite for me to play in the future. I was at stick left and he was shooting from the end to my left.
A team player partner wanted my space and was verbally zeroing in on me. We had an exchange with the BOX wondering what was happening. I walked. When I returned I stood right behind him and he ran away while telling me about the good shooting I just missed. ( this happened to me at the Mirage in 2019) Team players take a handful of wins and leave fast. They don’t want some Donkey slowing them down.
(I had a Don’t Player verbally play with me in Boston to the point where the whole table crew stuck up for me and came down on the Don’t. I think he was late banned.)
The new East Coast Native American partnership was a good visit. $15 The first table approaching from the Cage is bouncy. I had a great game on the other. the dealers are experienced seasoned and very likable. They winning and being tipped.
Lots of good places to eat. I would not rule out staying there.
The new Southern California Native American run Casino is terrific. The table nearest to the front door is terrific. The other table is evil. $15 tables
Great dealers and Suits
Good shooters play here and many bad locals. The good thing is the poor playing locals and tourist don’t stay long. I was able to get the table to myself often. Terrific.
Outstanding New York 1 slice pizza. Skip the breakfast buffet, McDonalds 24/7. Many other eateries. I would stay here again.
The Pirate place off my list for good. Just as well it was sold. I had the most outstanding two or three hour Craps play there in 2019. Turned a hundred bucks into a small bundle. They had the best experienced dealers there. Goes down as one of my best memories. They even gave me a free buffet after I was done shooting and colored up. Must have been the tips.
Dom and I discussed this place and I know he has good memories with this place too. LOL
Across the intersection across from the shopping mall is the the sister location of Boston but with a different name. The only place in town that has retired military keeping an eye on the door when you enter.
Tables were $50-$100. They offered to lower it to $25 after chatting it up at a table where no one was playing.
The table rails were raised higher in both buildings after my visit in January 2019. I am 5 feet eleven and I get up on my toes to shoot. I may have some shoes made to give me six more inches. Thats on my list.
This is where I had three one hour Craps runs in one session while attending my Golden Touch Craps Class. It doesn’t matter if I am in Boston or Las Vegas, I always like the Dealers and Suits, and servers.
They had the worst Buffet in Boston and ended up removing it and replacing it with pizza /sandwich shops. It’s all over priced.
My goal on these trips is to win enough to pay off all the expenses eating, airlines, car rental massage, bus tickets and so on. With enough left over to have the next trip payed for.
My betting was aggressive on this trip. I was betting big and winning big. And losing big. When I’m hot and are working four COME BET’s I don’t play scared. I focused on my fingers stance and so on.
My shooting was exceptional. My dice were landing on the same spot every time. My bank was $5000. I returned home short $400.00 and did not pay off expenses.
I lost on other shooters. There were guys at the table playing with twenty envelopes in their pouch. They were playing with $100. chips. You can learn a lot playing with these guys.
I gained knowledge on my new favorite tables for the next trip. I am resurfacing my hollow door preparing for the next trip.
I did not have lasting success at all the Casinos. But that is ok. This was my first visit in two years to many unfamiliar casinos. I have been playing bouncy tables the East Coast and “Roll to Win”.

Thank you for a great trip report. I agree with you about the Pirate place. My favorite quote from your message was: “…My betting was aggressive on this trip. I was betting big and winning big. And losing big. When I’m hot and are working four COME BET’s I don’t play scared. I focused on my fingers stance and so on. …” So many excellent comments in one place! You know your Edge and bet into it, and that is a wonderful thing!! Yea for COME BETTING! With the same House Edge as the Pass Line (1.41%), it is the best way to “lose less while winning“. Congrats on a successful visit to Vegas.

Cotton Lob, Great trip report! Thanks for sharing. Always a good time if you can win enough to cover expenses.

Cotton – did you use the 5-count on the other shooters? be honest :))

@dominator One thing that has become natural is to use the “Five Count”.
Dealers did not bother me because I tipped them on my first big wins as the shooter. When a roll brings in over eight hundred to a thousand the first time I throw $100.00 towards the dealer and I yell out “One Hundred for the dealers”. The I proceed to slip $25 throughout the session.
That keeps the heat off for sure. I’m making money and the dealers are happy and giving me good service reminding me when I forget to carry out one of my routine bets or something else.
Another thing I started to do occasionally the past two years is play the DC if a know shooter is cold and not repeating numbers. I remember doing this with a shooters wife. I stopped when she warmed up and started hitting the numbers. Good opportunity for tip money and give the dealer something to keep busy watching.

@chevy I did not practice before this trip @chevy. I brought a bag of dice though. I actually have not thrown dice at my house for months because I am resurfacing my practice rig.
The many – many hours and hundreds upon hundreds of dice thrown with note taking and pictures studied along with reading and rereading Dominators books and folding pages over the years with the meditating on my finger position that Dr Crapology worked on with me and the body position and so on.
( is this what they call in English class a run-on sentence?)
I almost brought Dominators new book but decided to travel lite. Bag contained socks, briefs, two shirts, shorts, bathing suit, slacks, iPad, phone, power cords, dice, note pad, pen, vitamins, caffeine, tooth brush, paste. I planned on visiting Macys for summer shirts across from where I played but was too exhausted. Had a good steak sandwich in the Food Court instead. LOL
My final thought on the my long winded topic is this. It’s ok to take time off from practice if you put quality practice in when performed. My opinion.

Mmmmmmmm – Got to say this, and this is for everyone
1. If you are using the 5-count you wouldn’t be betting DC
2. This is also saying that you are trying to win on a random roller and that is impossible. Sure in the short run you might win some money on a random roller if you get lucky, but in the long run you have to have the mind set that you are going to the casino and playing craps to win on YOUR roll and all you are doing by using the 5-count is “paying rent” on your spot till you get the dice.
3. you forgot the math of the game – pass line has a 1.41% house edge against you and the DC has a 1.4% edge against you. Sure the don’t is a 100th of a percentage point better, but really they are the same. Why do it?
I really appreciate that you wrote this so I can make valid points on betting that has to go hand in hand with the throw to make the MOST money you can at the tables

@dominator Dom, I like that phrase “Paying Rent”
