Could a female with long finger nails throw dice well? I am thinking not.

I found it difficult, and kept my nails trim. If you are using pads, instead of fingertips, then the nails don’t have to be extremely short, but you should practice with varying lengths until you are comfortable.
if using tips for the dice, your nails would have to be very short.
I hope this helps.

Amen Goddess!!!
Rose and Doc have used different length of finger nails over the years. Doc uses very short finger nails and the tips of his fingers to get the best results. Rose on the other hands has her finger nails a little longer. It works for her.
Whatever you choose, make sure you are able to get the dice to roll off your fingers together and level to the table. If you haven’t taken a primer course sign up at your earliest convenience. If you have, come take a refresher, tune up or elite video so we can take a look at your shot.
Hope to see you soon.

When I took the class I did not know that the 3 finger toss was going to be the only grip used . I had been using the 2 finger grip for some time . So it took sometime to adjust and then on the 2nd day of classes one instructor noticed my nails were not trimmed enough to get them even on dice . Big change after that . Just whished I would have know those two things before I took the class .
Good Rolling.
