Wife reports that ” Roll To Win ” was operating without a dealer on automatic play. The dice number is generated while the players make the bets. We will have to see how long the courts take to clear up the Betting Laws in Florida so we can play Craps with a dealer. Maybe 2023.

Another thing I found playing at the card room is the dealer has the ability to override the clock if you are the only player at the table. No prolonged waiting for count down.
This allows you shoot sooner than later.
They can also give you more time to place your bets if needed.

@dr-crapology The Casinos we’re planning on opening the Craps by this Spring when I spoke with the bosses in Florida last fall. Then all of a sudden the court case appeared and stopped all the plans in their tracks.
They had technicians assembling the Craps tables and Card tables at two of the larger Casinos while I was there. I guess the court case is about the betting apps. Online betting.

@bigcasino It is all about making sports betting and who will control it. Unfortunately everything is bundled into one legal package.

As I understand it, there will be table games–BJ, Craps, Mississippi Stud, many other table games where you will sit at a table without a live dealer. There will be no actual dice or chips at craps and at the card games no cards or chips . You will put your money in a slot like you do at a slot machine or VP game and you will make your bets on a computer type screen. The computer will deal the virtual cards for card games or “roll” the dice at craps. If you win your winnings will be added to your bank roll on the screen and if your lose your money will be taken from your “buy in.” Once you are done at the game you can have the machine print you a receipt like at a slot machine and you will go and cash your receipt at a machine. I would assume that if you have a large amount of money you would go to a teller at the cashiers cage.
Or something like that. Certainly I do not know the details or if the above will actually take place. But the casinos do seem to be trying to cut back to save money but not having dealers where possible.
These are just my crazy assumptions that something like this may occur in the future.

@cotton-lob Only certain machines are set to allow dealer to override. I’ve only seen it in Council Bluffs.

The casinos are learning how to run these machines . The first time a player gave up his roll at the casino I play at they ( dealer ) did not know that the next player if they wanted to roll would get the roll and still be able to roll again after finishing the roll . That led to how to do that on the machine which led to a slow down in the roll and a Pit person explaining how that would work .
Over ride as some call it .
This is a learning process for all . If you want to roll you need to make a min. bet and turn on the green roller thing on the machine . Some do not know about it . The machine will wait for a little time for the next roller , but you may miss you if you take to long to make a bet . That has happened and also some do not know how to select to be a no roller and that is also when a over ride comes in play .
A lot of DP players give up their rolls when they hit the point to many times . That has happened to me 3 times so far one was a 21 roll . I told the dealer if someone comes up they will think that I am having a great roll . LOL
Good Rolling.
