I think I’m a fan of the that new Electronic craps game. With just the Sitckperson. Had a good roll tonight. I really wish I had made 1 more roll to get to the 60 Club. Profitable Roll tonight.
I shot from the end. A much shorter table than the 14 footers I usually shoot from. Thank you to all my Instructors, I never would of made it this far without your help and guidance.
Have any others tried this newer type of table ? 1 dealer you do shoot the dice.

@finisher I think it is 10 players 5 per side. as you can see because of Covid they do have the plexi glass installed. That is why I prefer to shoot from the end I can really lean in and it is a much shorter table. I have tried SL1 and SR1 but just don’t do that well I think the plexi stall throws me off. They did have a few stools around so I took advantage of that if I was not shooting and waiting to get the dice it was nice to sit while 5 counting randoms. Hope your not close to all the volcano activity I see on the news. oh and don’t think that dealers don’t talk to each other, soon as I went back to the regular table all the dealers are like I heard you threw 59 times, I was like ah every squirrel finds a nut it is Fall.
Safe Travels,

I think they all talk to each other in every casino . That is why it is good to tip . No matter were you throw from a 59 roll is GREAT.
Good Rolling

JackD—glad you did well. Sounds like you did all the old GTC principles and made good money. As you know we don’t normally teach rolling from the end of the table, but with the short distance it was probably a pretty good decision to roll from that position. Rolling from SL 1 or SR 1 with the plexi glass can really screw with your shot.
I have not played on the one of the new machine tables with the computer screen for each position and with just the stick man. I did watch for a short time and I know that a player does need to get up to speed on how to make your bets as there is a time limit before you can’t make an additional bet. So I would assume you have to know how to make each and every wager properly or you will be closed out before you are ready. Your thoughts on this aspect of playing a machine table.

@dr-crapology
Yes you do have to be a little quick on betting but once you get that down it is not so hard. No CHIPS on the table is NICE. Changing denominations of chips is what gets me sometimes if you want even odds on your 5 or 9 6$ or 12$ change from 5$ to 1$ chips. Learned that if you over bet you can drag and drop the bet to the bottom of the screen and it returns it to you. That has saved me a few times !
The young ones really like this game. I think it is like a Big CELL PHONE to them. ha ha I played it at a Casino on the Strip in Vegas and the youngsters really seem to do pretty well for being just random rollers.
The 5$ minimum is sort of nice. I usually try out on this first to see how the night is going to go and it is close enough to the regular table I can keep an eye out for SL1 my preferred spot.
Hope you and Rose are doing well.
Be Safe,
JackD

Great shooting Jack!!! 59 is awesome! I really do like that table, I’ve played at at least 6 venues. Getting the SL1 shot down can be difficult because it’s so short… takes some practice for sure. Well done!

@hardnine,
I look forward to the day they take the plexi glass down so I can shoot from SL1 or maybe start at SL2. As you say it is a very short throw.

This table does make you appreciate good dealers. When all your bets become self service it lets you know how much the good ones keep track of. Met up with @finisher today late afternoon. I think this was his first experience with this table and we both started out a little shaky after a few rounds we both warmed up and had some good rolls Finisher had a 30 roll. The table and I loved that one.
For having such a long break this summer Finisher came back pretty strong. Hope we can meet up again soon.

How to play a glass top table with the “computer type screens” will probably have a bit of a learning curve to become successful.

It was great to be on that roll with you . I said that we both needed a good roll . Wish that I had been on the bonus though . Just when I was slow putting up bets you have a great roll .
Strange thing happened after you left . I had one of my short rolls from end of table and decided to go back to R1 when the next roller L1 got the dice and rolled to the left . I told her that she was suppose to roll the other way . The dealer said that she did not know that and was only told that the dice had to hit the back wall . Two rolls later the 7 came up put they did not hit the back wall so it was a no roll . So maybe this may help if they all stick to that rule .
Some dealers know a lot and others know nothing about craps . One other thing if the dice roll of the table you can not take down your bets . Once there is no more bets it locks up but some times it just takes the bet down . That happened to me twice
Good Rolling.

@finisher, That is a good 1 .. Shoot from SL1 and throw to the left ? WOW.. I know most of the regular dealers would not let you get away with that. If a less experienced one from the CARD games shows up I might try that trick.
Dam Glad I got on that BONUS wish I had put more on it .. 2$ turned into 200 after the 50th roll. That Dealer on STICK was Hilarious. I just holler back at him to get him more cranked up it is always a fun time when he is on stick. I’m Like HECK ya I have those Hardways BET ! I thought he was going to give me READING. He could FEEL my energy ! ha ha I should of asked him if he saw my BLUE aura ! I always try to keep it fun when Im at the table.
Throwing from SL1 to the left and not able to hit the back wall? ha ha what a weakling.
It was great running into to you. I have a friend coming in later this week from Dallas will probably hit our regular place later in the week . Thursday I think.
