Recently I was out at the casino in AC with a couple of GTC members. It was great to finally play with people who have the same interest as myself. Most of the time I’m by myself. I learned a lot that day from the senior member of the group. She brought to my attention that I was not holding my follow through long enough & at times my hand/fingers were wandering to the right. I wasn’t holding my fingers parallel to the table. I was shooting from SL1. She said once I correct that problem I will start to throw more repeating numbers. This was great having someone there that can critique my toss. So what did I do? When I got home I took her advice. I broke down the toss into their individual sections. I mostly practiced the the follow through and holding my fingers parallel. I gripped the dice, went through the toss extending my arm holding my fingers parallel to the table. i didn’t release the dice. I kept repeating that for about 3 sets of 20 each. This should build up my muscle memory. I have been doing this drill every time I practice. I was doing it during my previous practice sessions, but evidently it was not enough. I do practice on a regular bases. So that brings me to what I have also been seeing on u-tube. I see so called expert instructors tossing the dice with horrible form. We all know who these people are. While watching these people I critique their toss and I have a good laugh. I try not to watch them, but at on occasion I do. I will stick with the Golden Touch way any day because it works. So let me know what you have been working on lately with your toss. We all can learn from each other.

Well first Goddess was our very first student with her husband Sand Trap. Next she is one of the best instructors we have – she has a great eye!
What she told you to do, Daryl calls the drill and it is so important. What I want you to do now that you are practicing that for 20X’s is do this – practice this without dice 10 X’s, then pickup the dice and throw them, not looking at your spot, but following your hand and see if you are in the same position as you were without the dice. Then do the 10X’s again and again on the 11th pick up the dice and again watch.

@high-arc How cool to shoot with Dom’s first student! I have shot with @finisher and I think he is also one of the students near the beginning. When I did the Video Elite Daryl shared the DRILL with me. It has helped me a lot. Lately I have been concentrating on my GRIP. I’m resting up after being in Vegas and Laughlin last weekend Vegas wore me out It was so crowded come Friday I had to use uber and Lyft to get around as I know I would of lost my parking space.

@dominator Thanks Dom for the reply. We had a good time playing in AC. I finally had a chance to play with a group GTC members. Most of the time I’m by myself at the table or with a few random rollers. I will add the drill that you have explained to me in your reply. One of the reasons I started the topic to try to stimulate conversion about problems people are having with their toss. I see a number of people showing pictures of their winnings, but how’s the toss. This is the forum where members can discuss their dice control problems and get a good answer from an expert. With all the wealth of expert knowledge at their finger tips why not? You have to be crazy to search out those other craps sites, where you usually get bad advise.

@jackd Thanks for the reply. I remember Daryl’s drill, but I need to practice it more during each session. I practice my grip a lot & have no problem there. When I sit at my kitchen counter, which is often I open the draw & pull out the dice. My problem is the follow through. So Vegas was crowded. The Info that I have been getting makes it sound like its empty. All of the hotel offers have been dirt cheep.

I usually stay in the Downtown area. This last trip it was super crowded come Friday and Sat.
Finding a parking spot in the Garage was almost next to impossible once the weekend hit. I have a short break coming up in December but will probably make sure we stay on a SUN-Thurs time frame to avoid the crowds.

@high-arc Phoenix, AZ area – Fortunately we now have at last count 3 casino’s with live craps.
About a 5.5 hour drive to Vegas, 4.5 to Laughlin
Having local play is nice. All about 30-40 min drive from the house. All 14 footers $10 min. My trips to Vegas may taper off now that we have craps locally. I still like Laughlin, NV some Casino’s 5$ min during the week but as some have pointed out you can still loose on a 5$ min just a slower drain.

- @jackd I’m a 45 minute drive to AC that’s doing about 80mph. I have yet to see a $5.00 game here. Usually $10.00 plus.

I was in Atlantic City yesterday. For the past three weeks I have been working on my shots follow through. I had a chance to see if my hard work had paid off. My initial problem was not holding the follow through long enough. I was dropping my arm to soon. Well the practice did not disappoint. I approached this session with my concentration on making a point of holding my arm up longer. As I preceded with the toss throughout my session, I would say about 70% of the time my follow through was held. The other times I new right away by muscle memory that it wasn’t. With that adjustment I must say that It helped me withdraw a nice amount of money from the casino. As a come bettor I repeated a lot of numbers just as the Goddess said would happen. I still have a little more work to do in order to attain the almost perfect shot.
