Now what I am going to give you is a little more than average, meaning that maybe 80% of the tables are these dimensions. But not all tables will be like this. It depends on the builder of the table and how they put it together.

These measurements  are right in the ranges I have seen on the internet, etc.

Or course being 68″ short I would like less height on the rail.

That extra 1.25 inches has made a large impact on the Shooting Rig arm rest height and my control.

Now back to practicing….

Hi John Welcome to this Journey . When I get back home I will measure my table but do think it is 29 in like Dom said . I made it myself so may not be correct as those in casinos .

I use to like to play at one casino till they changed their table to one that I can not reach come bets . Was 5 ft. 6 but with age am now 5 ft. 3 .

Darn! I thought I am gonna have problems with the table heights, but I have not started to enjoy my senior years with diminishing height yet.

I am thinking of acquiring some of them there added height soles on my shoes…. Only for the Casinos.  My wife wouldn’t let me wear them out in public with her! She still cares what others think of our (her) appearance.  

I made my own Practice Rig and Shooting Platform too – 

                 28″ tall on a 1/2 size Table and Shooting Rig,

                          with removable table bases –

                            *one with 1 felt pad and a felt craps table  layout overlay

                              * and one with the closed cell  foam pad and then a felt                                     crap table layout pad.

 I have a micro fiber craps table layout and a vinyl underlayment still to do…

I got the plans for a half table then said to myself why not just make it a 12 ft. since there would be less cutting . So that is the way I went . It took me awhile to build but have enjoyed several casino nights with it .

Well, I do not know if you are married but my Bride only allowed, errr issued me, a small area in the house to set up my equipment.  She did allow me to move from the garage into the house for the AC.

Once she sees how serious I am she might give me more space in her/our  house….

Also, I wanted to have different landing areas for my dice.

A full table does take up room . I built mine on patio and that is were it has stayed till we move . Then ?????? . It is 12 ft. and is heavy . But I do need a new felt so that will happen during move .
