The Vegas Class –May 1 to May 2

Spread the love

We could say that the Vegas class was a good one but that would be incorrect—the class was great.  One of the largest in some time– 42 students — primers, refreshers and advanced students.  All students came to learn and learn they did.  The improvement in each student’s throw increased dramatically from Saturday to Sunday.  Everyone worked hard both instructors and students.

We heard some excellent stories from the students as to how they were having some success over the weekend.  Isn’t that what the GTC class is all about!!!

If you haven’t planned to attend a future class in Connecticut, Memphis, or Vegas later this year, call Dom at 866 SET DICE.  You will not regret your decision to do so.

This last class of students should have access to the website by this weekend.  We encourage any of you to add comments regarding the class to this post.  Covid has kept most of us from going to the casinos and this last weekend was really fun and we came back winners!  Thank you GTC!

Hope to see everyone soon.

Doc & Rose,

What a great time we had in Las Vegas.   First the Blind Center is such a nice facility, Big open space on the first floor.  Perfect time of year for our lunch breaks dining outdoors visiting with Instructors.

As a refresher, I was so impressed, by the 2nd day with the Primer students and how much better they had become with just 1 day of instruction. 1 young lady from Washington was throwing on one of the big tables and I was amazed at her consistency in setup and shot doing the same thing over and over.  I told her she was doing amazing for a primer student.   <<< Get this, later that Sunday night after class she comes up to me in one of downtown Casino’s and tells me. I Just had a 40 plus roll over at one of the other downtown Casino’s and one of the other players was so  grateful he tipped her $250 ! <<<   That was just one of the many students and they had a very large class.   I think DOM is unleashing some great advantaged players on the Casino’s .

Later that night I wandered over to one of my favorite Casino’s that has the All Tall Small Bonus bet.   I was doing pretty well with a long roll from SL1.  Another player comes up at SL2 while I’m shooting and I’m thinking here we go he is going to buy in during my throw. I was pleasantly surprised he waited till I 7 out before he buys in.  I thought WOW someone that knows Table etiquette.  He leaned over towards me and quietly says ” Who taught you to shoot like that DOC or Rose”  I laughed and said well actually both of them.  He told me he was a former student of GTC from 2006.  He threw and then we had a chance to quietly visit.  He told his wife was also a controlled shooter and he said she always did the same set as I do.. The 5’s on top  he said she called them puppy paws on top.  Sounded like he really misses having her at the table with him.

I put down a deposit to take advantage of the deep early discount.  I believe they are still offering it for a short time.  If your leaning towards continuing your training I would say take advantage of the offer.   Good shooting at the tables.  Remember to tip the good dealers, they work hard for the $$ .

Jack D–what a great post.  We know the lady you are talking about.  She had seen some of Dom’s videos and read his books.  When we first saw her shot at our table during the class she was right on.  She only needed some very minor critiques.

We had to laugh about the gentlemen who said who taught you to throw like that.  You made our day.

Hello everyone,

I just want to say thank you for the opportunity to learn your GTC methods. Before taking the class I would have considered myself an intermediate player on the tables, but after some research and finding validity on your courses, I’m real happy that I took that leap forward and took the classes. It helped humble me and opened my eyes in what I was doing wrong before. I got to see why certain bets are useful and why other bets don’t work. I’ve only began playing craps just a year ago and I’m glad I got in early I learning from the best there is. I hope one day to continue taking future classes soon.

On a side note, this past Sunday May 9th, I took a profit of $3600 from my local casino using everything I learn the weekend before! Thank you golden touch.

Wow that is really great, thank you for sharing!!!! On a friendly side note just a friendly reminder from your welcome email to please not mention names of Casinos, we do this so if you had posted some type of advantage, that they are unaware of, we don’t want them to see that we know. I will go remove the name. Thank you for coming to the forum and please keep us posted, read all you want, ask questions and learn all you can from the Best in the World!

I for one am not surprised this Las Vegas seminar was so great. I have taken the Primer and Refreshers and always left impressed with the thoroughness of the instruction, the professionalism of the instructors, and the comradery of my fellow classmates. I could easily write a book on how much I learned in my different seminars.

The best advice I have is for those who just completed the Primer: Practice regularly at home, go to the casino and conquer. Then remember this – if you are like the rest of us, GTC Instructors included, bad habits creep in over time. You will need a practiced eye to help you adjust your stance, or your grip, your swing, your release, your mindset, your bet method, to mention a few. This is what the Refresher class does=> adjusts experienced advantage players. Go ahead and plan to take a Refresher class.

Another great benefit and advantage to being a GTC alumnus is the GTC alumni network. Keep those contacts handy for your trips to the casino. Often, when I have a trip planned, I will post the date and destination in the Meet up forum, here. You can also directly message anyone that ia a member of this forum.

It makes a big difference to have a fellow GTC alumnus at the table with you.

Congratulations to you, our newest Golden Touch Craps alumni, and welcome. I look forward to meeting you at the craps table. The game is on!

Preacher you have said some important things about becoming and staying a profitable craps player in the casino.  Let’s compare ourselves to the best of the best Major League baseball players.  The team management knowing the importance of keeping the players in the best of physical shape and mental awareness.  That is why every baseball team has hitting, pitching and other advisors to keep the players is the best  shape as they enter the game each day of the baseball season.  As GTC advantage players we are no different

And that is why we should stay at top of our game by being present at class weekends by taking a refresher course, video elite, a tune up and the advanced course to keep ourselves at the top of our game both physically and mentally.

We can’t wait to see every one at a class weekend in the near future.

Preacher, thank you for such a glowing testimonial!

Where have you been BTW? I hope last year was a problem for your family. Is Mr America, ( I think that was his nickname) who is representing our great country in the armed forces, doing OK?

@dominator

Dom,

In my lifetime, I never had a knife cut on me, in a friendly way that is, until I turned 62. Apparently, that was the end of my warranty period. I then had 2 minor surgeries followed by 2 major surgeries, the last being my back (delayed thanks to Covid), from which I have been recovering. I only just started driving myself, again. In the interim, so my craps skills would not go dusty, I started giving lessons to my wife, RollTide4Ever, and my 5th and youngest son, using my Golden Touch Throwing and Receiving stations. After we each warm up, we put a layout over the kitchen table with clay chips, and have a full practice game. Inexplicably, if I don’t keep an eye on them, one or the other will throw a bet on the field or the hardways. What is that about?

They both have come a long way, and should do me proud at their first Golden Touch Seminar. I should be ready to fly by October, so we are planning to attend the October 2021 Las Vegas class.

My 2nd son, GTC alumnus Capt. America, is now stateside. He and family are moving to Maryland for his next tour of duty. He has had little opportunity to visit a casino in the last 2 years. When I go visit towards the end of the year, we will visit a local casino for a few craps sessions.

@preacher

I am so glad that the surgeries turned out well and you put a smile on my face this morning talking about you teaching everyone in your family. So glad that Captain America is stateside. Give him my regards!
