Bye ins

Spread the love

Wonder if you bye in with more if at a higher limit table or bye in the same no matter what ?

I am a low roller so this does not affect me much . I just play at the low limit tables or don’t play .

I did play on a 15.00 table one time for 5 min . then they raised the min to 25.00 so I left even though I would have be able to play .

Since they have raised most min. bets I plan trips during the week and pass on the weekends . Were I play they raise the min. on Fri. So trips end on FRI. Good way to leave early .

Good Rolling.

Smart move to play within your bank roll.  Fortunately our bank roll allows us to play a little higher table limit, but not that much.  Have had the casino raise the minimum bet and left as you said.

The question is interesting about buy-ins. What you have in your pocket/401G account is what is important, not the buy in. I buy in for different amounts all the time and it doesn’t matter what the limits at the table are.

Now you might ask why? My secret ?????

Dom Attention attention I know that you do not want that . Some think that what you bye in for makes a difference in your rating . Most if not all say no it is the play . Also if you tip . It use to be the power of the pin . Now it is the power of the  button .

Good Rolling.

Dom, I’d love to hear your reasoning.

The only thing I’ve heard about larger buy ins is that it IMPLIES you’re going to bet bigger, but any box/floor person is going to quickly adjust so it really doesn’t matter.  If you’re at your home casino, they know anyway.

Our buy in doesn’t affect your rating at all. How much you spread does. Now if you have casino credit lets say for $10,000 and you take a marker for $2000, when the box sees that you are good for 10G, it implies that you are willing and able to lose 10G. But again that doesn’t affect your comps

I lost a third of my bank on a crappy table the other day. I new it was crappy but I thought I could figure it out. I pulled my remaining chips and walked up to an empty $50 table. I started by playing just the Pass Line. I hit the first five points immediately and started laying odds on the Pass Line and making COME BETS. I recouped my original loss and continued to make money while playing the table by myself. I looked around at the other tables full of people knowing I was enjoying a great opportunity to play and win at my own pace by myself. I played for over an hour by myself on a really terrific table with just the right bounce and wonderful dealers. Sometimes a couple of good shooters will join you and the fun begins.

Anyone can do this if you put in quality practice. I have on many occasions walked up to a table with just $10. or $25. for the challenge to make it one hundred. It is based on my television viewing commercial break ONE TOSS EXERCISE. Throw the dice once on each commercial with the goal of repeating the same number each commercial break. Your grip and everything has to be the same.

I don’t care what the table cost if its a good one. Many times you have to pay to be on the good ones. Just my opinion.
