Here is a picture of me practicing before I attended a Golden Touch Class. I was on my porch fourteen feet back from a table with a little cardboard paint bucket the same as the one on the stool. The bucket was full of dice. This is a good exercise for range of motion. It trains your muscles and ligaments to be long. Kung Fu master Bruce Lee would do something like this one thousand times a day in his training. For those of you who confused my body for Bruce Lees you are mistaken.
Now that I am Golden Touch trained I would do this exercise sideways. I no longer use this method but it is a way to spice up your training in control of your toss and have some fun throwing into a paint bucket.
