Just played at the above this past week for an 2 night stay.
Observations:
Only 25% occupancy for everything. Almost the entire place was shut down.
Limited food in restaurants and take out options.
Lots of safety protocols in place.
Craps was great with the 6 player rule. Very comfortable and a nice pace. Excellent dealers.
Your position was sanitized before they would let you step up to a spot.
Dice were also sanitized.
A dedicated chip sanitizer person was doing the rounds at all the tables.
Tables were great to play on for GTC throw.
Made a 6x on my first session. All tables need to be like this.
Got to play the new GLASS Top CRAPS TABLE!
It was a lot of fun.
Bounce is great !
Short persons will have difficulty leaning over the top for the correct throw.
I had no problem on that.
A drawback is you only have 15 seconds to bet. But you get used to it.
Made money at each session.
A nice trip after so many months!
Question, please PM me.
John

Great report!
Did you have to wear masks?

Yes,
- All the time.
Annoying but necessary.

Had my seamstress friend make me a mask out of cheesecloth with a fabric boarder. It looks great and is easy to breath in.

I question the word “necessary” , but that is just me

Thanks for the report. Very encouraging news about craps. I was wondering if there was a future for GTC players – sounds like there is
Were you able to play from SL1 or SL2?

Played from SL1 on both.
I was surprised by the good bounce on the glass top.
It was very relaxing to play on it .
To throw, you rest your torso on the touch screen that is at 45 degrees.

Thanks for responding. That is great news! Earlier speculation indicated that SR1 and SL1 might not be available since those positions are so close to the stickperson. There maybe a future in craps for me after all.

Heard from a GTC player who lives in Vegas and he said that there was not really a a SL1 / SR1 position as with distancing the closest was not SL1 position but SL1 and 1/2, but very playable.
So in practice we have been playing a little past SL! position. Hopefully that will help us prepare when we do get to a casino.

Report on CT casinos.
I am trying to attach a photo of the craps table at the SLY casino in CT.
It is very GTC unfriendly. The plexiglass setup does not allow you to extend your arm past about 25-30 degrees. So I ended up having to flick my wrist to get the dice to the end of the table. SL1 was the typical SL1 and 1/2, not a big deal.

Colorup, Excellent, heading to my cabin Sat, so hoping to get there at least a few times over the next two week. Any chance you’ll go back? PM me if so and we can connect. Agreed! Love the glass top, though tier sucks!
