What an amazing time we had in Vegas.
I cant say enough about how helpful all the instructors were.
In a matter of minutes they analyzed my shot and were able to give me the exact steps to make corrections in my throw.
I would not have been able to fix these issues on my own and even if I accidentally fixed them, I would not have known what I did to fix them if they happen again. As an example, for me, if the dice are not going straight down the table, my shoulders are not square. Amazing results when I do the right thing.
Enough of that, the people on this forum don’t need to hear that stuff.
The only comment I wanted to make is about betting and the 5 count.
I played on Sunday night at the casino. I was in the hook and not throwing on the first table. I used the 5 count on every shooter, a $15 table with 2x odds.
I started with $400 and the dice went around twice. All random rollers. I ended up cashing in $675, up $275.
The second table I got my spot at SL1 and did the same 5 count on everyone and Come betting. Most other players were leaving broke or throwing more money in to stay. I started with $400 and went down to $200, but when I throw the dice the first time I make one point and then 7 out. Went around again and I still hade $200 left. The second time I threw I hit a total of 5 points, 3 in a row to start, repeater after repeater. I was come betting myself and threw around 20. At the end I cashed in $550.
In both sessions I hit my goal, to double my buy in. If not for the 5 count I would have gone home a loser like all the other random rollers at the table.
So the $400 profit covered most of my tuition for the refresher class in AC.
Life is good.
Thanks again for all the GTC instructors and to all the new friends I met.
See you at the tables.

Its amazing after all the work the instructors did on grip, stance, throw and release, it all is coming together.
I can relax and concentrate on the spot I want to hit.
I am actually able to feel the dice roll off my fingertips.
They are flying straight and even.
Thanks again for all your help, it is really appreciated.

I totally agree. Dom has a great crew of instructor’s ! They can quickly spot any bad form quickly and get us back on track. My most profitable outing was Monday morning my last day at a 12 foot table with a 5 min and 5x odds with 6x on the 5 and 9 . It started pretty poorly. Point,7 Point, crap 7 >> I’m like settle down clear your mind and think about what they told you. I made sure my arm was straight remembered what Billy the kid had told me and told me. Less back swing ! settled in and away we went ! after about 20 throws I told the dealer I think I’m getting dialed in! He was like oh yes your dialed in my man ! I’m normally not a large better but I started maxing odds on all my bets. I would usually keep 3 working bets. Pass line and 2 comes. Sometimes up to 4 .. I was repeating on 5 and 9. I was putting out a LOT of white chips for the dealers. The stickman did not crowd me or like some have done to me lean into the table and get it bouncing while your trying to get set. Well after I have some collections the suit shows up the box person completely disappeared and the SUIT was watching but never sat in the box person’s spot this was in the morning so maybe because the floor was not busy smaller casino. I finally 7 out and figured it was time to start the drive home. The Suit colored up my chips and I was surprised that I had nearly doubled my buy in, this is not the normal for me. I hope this is the NEW normal. A huge thank you to Dom and all the great instructors. Dom your right "Winning is the MOST fun !"

It was fun throwing with you in Laughlin and Vegas during the trip out.
You have a great throw, I learned a few things watching you.
And we generally left with more chips than we started with, a good thing.
Hopefully we can catch up in April in Laughlin.
If not, I am planning on a refresher in AC in May.
Thanks again for your help.

Looking forward to April. That 5 count is such a great thing! I was at the table in Laughlin and someone next to me was like your not putting any bets out ?
The shooter was arguing with the dealers and box person about something, I told the guy next to me, The DICE have ears. The shooter sevens out after about 3 throws the guy next to me was like wow you called that 1. Like our instructors told us you have to have lines.
You can have an excellent throw but if you don’t bet correctly you are not betting into your edge. I have my first 5000 rolls recorded and working on my 2nd 5000 to see if my SRR will improve, I’m sure it will after the class. A higher SRR, the 5 Count, and Come betting I know that I will have an advantage.
