There are all kinds of these machines . Most that you are looking for are not VP tho . Usually you can find a group of machines that are together that may be progressive either with all types of hands that way or may just have the royal that way . They may just be that way for that casino . But it seems to me that most casinos are replacing these types with new ones that are not once the jackpot is hit .
I think there is some rule that if they remove the machine before the progressive has hit they need to put it on other machines but I may be wrong .At one casino I play at they needed to get new ones and they split the money between several machines over a period of a month . I found this out when I went there and the progressive was way higher then I had ever seen it and it had not been long enough for it to get that high since I was there last . Ifo is vary little unless you ask .
This can vary from state to state or even if it is Indian or not . I hope this helps a little and there may be others that can do a better job on this for you .

I see these other machines with a digital display on top with the jackpot that is constantly going up. This I thought was progressive. Doesn’t necessarily hold true for video poker?

I finally see it; maybe I’m a little slow but the machines that I’m looking at had 2 games that was progressive. Looked like maybe it goes up a penny or so every two or three hands.

Were we play the most at they have 9 machines that are all hooked up . they start at 1,000.00 for royal . Most of the time it is hit just before the 1,200.00 mark or it just seems that way .

I have seen machines that have more then one progression also but they are hard to find .
