Atlantic City in October

Spread the love

For those coming to AC in October, here are some interesting things to do during down time. (If you haven’t signed up yet, you should do so.)

The Noyes Art Garage (free) houses a collection of shops and studios selling everything from prints to sculptures to sneakers to jewelry.
2200 Fairmount Ave. (on the Boardwalk) artsgarageac.com

African-American Heritage Museum of Southern NJ, with paintings, maps, & advertisements documenting the fascinating history in the area.
2200 Fairmount Ave (on the boardwalk) artsgarageac.com/african-american-heritage-museum

Princeton Antiques & Book Service owner has a huge collection of photographs in binders; an illuminating and entertaining way to learn about AC’s history.
There also are unusual volumes of childhood favorites.
2917 Atlantic Ave; princetonantiques.com

Tenneessee Avenue Beer Hall has dozens of craft beers on tap.
133 South Tennessee Ave.; tennesseeavenuebeerhall.com

White House subs, open since 1946, shouldn’t be missed.
2301 Arctic Ave.; whitehousesubshop.net

Enjoy!

Goddess, great information when you want a break from the casino. Thanks for posting this info.

BTY–Hope you will be able to make the class weekend in October. If so Rose and Doc would welcome the opportunity to be your DI–designated driver–while your are in town.
