5000 rolls

Spread the love

So when I do decide to start my 5000 rolls on a spreadsheet how exactly do you guys record your rolls.
Do you just record if it’s a 6 or hard six
I’m saying should you record the combinations or just the numbers. A or b
A. 6 =5-1 roll one.
B. 6 Roll one

I do "A". I also circle my hardways.

When I record I mark a dot with a dry marker on the one pip of my right die. Then I always start with that die on the right and use the same dice set every time ( for me, hard way with 4’s on top and 5’s facing me). On my recording sheet I have one column for the right die and one for the left and the final column to record the number thrown. Later in my analysis, I think it is just as important or maybe even more to see any tendencies in my final dice faces as it is to see the final outcome. Maybe on axis but single pitch of right die or off axis left die is turning in one face, etc. Anyway, that is how I like to do it.

Record both die. You can have a formula to add the two and use spreadsheet logic to determine if it is a hardway and other formulas to determine what is important for a dice controller. Below another name for a hardway is Primer

a b C D E F G H
D1 D2 Total Craps Hardway Off Access Primer Secondary
5 1 6 No No Yes No Yes
5 5 10 No Yes No Yes No
4 2 6 No No No No Yes

C – H can be coded as excel or google sheet formulas.

Always use a hardway set when practicing that way the data collected above can give you an understanding of how your throw is going.

I like that idea Mr. Pip
Once I reach my first 5000 rolls I will use your idea on my new list of rolls.

Okay I’ll use your great idea for learning to do my first list of rolls thanks.

I just simply marked "N’ if not a seven and "s" if rolled a seven. The only info I was looking for was my SRR. Kept it simple.
