So playing a 5$,table and
I put two come bets with 1x odds passline 1xodds as well using only come betting. Say you get three collections when your rolling right. And your next come bet travels to the next number say it’s five and you take 2x odds on that number should you up your betting level after every three hits on all your come bets including your pass line odds to 2x or just the next number. Then press your odds each time after your third collection to double to 4x odds. Or say u have 5 and 9 cover with 1x odds the nine hits at for your third you replace the next come bet with double odds and the next with double. Having two come bets with one pass line

You should get the most out of your bets, and 1x odds isn’t doing it, especially if on yourself as a DI’er. My rule is a minimum of 3x4x5x regardless of the odds offered (I’m in a 100x market in Chicago). Perhaps you’re getting your 401G built up, I know that it takes a while, but if not already you’ll get there. Bottom line, Get the odds bets up to a decent level first, then spread. First lets look at the edge that the casino has with odds. The key is to get to 5X odds. Now in Vegas where there is only a 3/4/5 X odds game you can’t, but at many other venues you can. I say 5X odds because the difference in edge from 1X to 5X is much more drastic than from 5X to 10X. At 1X odds the house edge is .85%, at 5X the house edge is .33%, a difference of .5%. at 10X the house edge is .18%, a difference of .3%. You can see that the drop in edge has a greater difference from 1 to 5 than from 5 to 10. That is not to say that taking 10X odds isn’t good, but that having a bankroll that can afford to go to 5X is the most important. To put it another way 1 come bet at 3X odds is better than 3 come bets at 1X odds as far as house edge is concerned.
But, it is hard for most people to only have a passline and 1 come bet out on the table. That 1 come bet and even the passline bet bet could be just an outlier. So I would recommend having the passline bet with 2 come bets even at just 1X odds. Now after this I am going to say that it is up to you if you would rather as you hit a number and collect if you want to increase the odds and stick with just those 3 working bets building up the odds till you get to that 5X or if you want to spread out even more with more come bets. If you understand that paragraph above you can make that choice until your BR gets to the point that you can initially get to the 5X odds from the get go.
I am glad you are sticking to the 3 collections rule if you want to be conservative before you either increase your odds or increase the number of come bets or if you want to be aggressive waiting for two collections.
Please for you or anyone reading this, if you don’t understand ask questions. Betting is as important if not MORE important than the throw. Proper betting, as two students stated in class that were there as refreshers will keep you in the game. As they stated, their throws were not up to parr yet but betting kept them going.
