A new way to hedge your bet

Spread the love

I went to a NY casino for a day trip. One table open on left side. Right side reserved. Got there about 11:30 AM. Told that another table would open up around noon. A person goes up to the one crew number sitting at the closed table and says I want SR1. That is where I shoot from. I went to lunch and when I came back this person was in SR1. About 20 minutes later, I returned to the table and he was gone. I started to take out my money, when I noticed there was about $100 in $5 chips in SR1. I went over to the original table and lo and behold, Mr. SR1 was shooting there. I returned to the table that I wanted to shoot at and asked the boxperson if you can play at two tables at the same time. A dealer said he must have gone to the bathroom. I said that I did not think so, since I saw him playing at the other open table. The pit boss went over and a minute later came back with Mr. SR1 in tow and made him leave the table with his chips. Is that the latest strategy in hedging your bets?

I have seen were a player will bet the fire on 2 tables till the pit critter finds out . Sounds like he did not do well on one and was just trying out the other .
It happens ALL the time on Slots .
I wonder how much play you need to do to get a table reserved . I some times want to tell the first player to come to the table that it is reserved for RED chip players only just to see their reaction . But have not tried that YET.
Good Rolling. 😀 🙂

The player who had the reserved right side of the table was the only one on that side, even though all positions had the reserved placard. He bought in for 10k. He appeared to be losing about 5 or 6k by the time I left.
