Got to the table. Shot a 5 roll, then an 11 roll. Then I shot a 26 roll. When ?I got the dice again I was in the zone and was up to 29 rolls, when the stick man hit my hand in mid roll and I sevened out. I wanted to kill him.

Bummer! Intentionally?

I do not think it was intentional, just careless. I was tipping rather well. He harmed the crew as well as me.

The next morning, great crew, mostly empty table. Rolled a 25,21 a 10, and and then a 41. Revenge is a dish best eaten cold.

In 13 years of doing this I’ve come to terms with the fact the dealers are more interested in each other than what they were doing and how they affect the game. If you just step back and watch dealers are constantly having a conversation with themselves rather than monitoring the game you will see their hands constantly jetting out into the table of play the stick coming leaning pointing into the game stick man leaning into the game they’re clueless they have no idea what they’re doing affects the game. What we do is completely different from the norm they’re not trained are do they know or realize they’re doing any of this, they are just having fun making the best of their job they possibly can and doing what they believe to be the right thing.

Some stick are trying to act cool and wind up shooting themselves in the foot when you SO and you have nice tips in action for them.

Some time back playing at Harrahs Las Vegas with another GTCer who was shooting from stick left one position. While in the process of shooting, "the stick" reached around his head and tapped the GTCer on the shoulder with the stick when he was releasing the dice. The shooter didn’t seven out but the surprise tap with the stick didn’t seem to phase the stick or the table supervisor when asked about it. As Brothelman stated they do lose focus on why we are there. The best way to remind them is to pick up all the bets we have down for them. I personally don’t like to engage them in any conversation, but if it effects play I am not bashful, then I cash out. Another time on a Cruise Ship the stick started to tap the stick on the rail next to me while I was shooting. He was not thinking what he was doing but continued to loudly tap the table. I asked the table supervisor if he would get the stick a "drum" to play with so he would stop tapping the table. The stick suddenly realized what he was doing and apologized. Next Cruise on the same ship he (stick) was now a Supervisor in the Casino and very friendly. TheUsualSuspect, Semper Fi carry on
