Hello GTC, I just want to say, I think the Big Skinny is a great revelation to our betting strategies. I only use come betting with full odds for every session. Just wondering if anyone has ever increased the come bet with full odds instead of place betting when it came down to double dipping to add a secondary bet to the original come bet? Your thoughts?

I have tried that in the past. I do recommend you work with that concept in practice first so that you are familiar enough to put it on automatic pilot in the casino. Some of the difficulty I had was with the crew making the shift when I made the shift to my flat bet with full odds. I am also aware of any change that creates extra thinking on my part during my roll. If it distracts or starts to involve too much conscious processing, I will avoid it. Either way, it does put more out there on an extended roll. Keep it simple for yourself and it becomes a very easy progression to make. Good rolling.

What Doughboy said is true. Depending on how good the crew is the increase in the base bet could give them problems. But to answer our question, yes I have done that but it is dealer dependent and also you must know what the payout is to a "T"!

Doughboy and Dom are rights on. You need to keep it as simple as possible for both you and the dealer. If you are playing in a very established casino increasing your base bet should not be a problem–especially for you if you have not been practicing increasing the base bet. You need to practice the moves to increasing your base bet so it become automatic with very little thinking so you stay focused on your throw. We do practice this from time to time.

Thank you for all the responses. I agree keeping it simple is best. I do practice this move at home albeit at a much slower pace.
