I’m wondering if people find it more beneficial to concentrate on throwing like a hard eight or aces or is it more beneficial to them to concentrate on making a quality shot and reproducing the same shot over and over. For me if I start concentrating on one specific number I noticed that the quality of my shot at Goes away and the rolls really really shorten, now if I concentrate purely on a quality shot I have a tendency to repeat the same numbers over and over just wondering what other people feel and do?

for example, a ‘6’, your rolls get short (you don’t have a long roll).
What do you mean by "if I concentrate purely on a quality shot I have
a tendency to repeat the same numbers over and over"?
What is a "quality shot"? One that looks good in the air and on landing?

Bruce Lee the Kung Fu expert practiced daily and kept journals ( that his daughter now holds in her possession) of every workout he ever did. He would do one thousand punches to a bag with his right hand and then one thousand punches with his left. He wrote it all down. I’m not perfect and still fight my bad habits thinking changing the dice will solve the problem but the other day I refocused and it came back. And then there bad dice, dealers, tables and I walk.

I note what my roll results are. If I am rolling sevens I just remember what Dom tells us and correct any of the above. I head for the casino and know what numbers to expect. Come Bets really pay off practicing this routine.
Cotton Lab, that is exactly what I do, as well.
Also, since there are no casinos with craps in Texas, other than a small ship in and out of Galveston once a week, I always have a room at the casino. I always take my mobile GTC travel practice rig with me in my carry on luggage. I do best if I practice for an hour before going down to the casino floor. Even if I have a problem in my practice, the fix occurs to me on my way down.
The practice allows me to then focus on my grip and how the dice travel down the table. Adapting to a table is so much easier after sufficient practice. It also makes me much harder to be distracted, and distractions are less bothersome.
