    Should we trust the process?

    So the Golden touch group teach a process to lose less. Starts with the grip then the throw and all tied together with a betting strategy. Sure these guys are very experienced and sound like they know what they are doing, but DOES IT WORK?

    Well, I can’t speak for everyone but here’s my story.

    My dad loves to play craps, he’s retired and has plenty of free time and funds to play with. So he finds this guy (Dom) claiming to be able to teach us to become better players. He signs up for a class and brings me along just to have some company. At this time I am not a craps player, never played before. So my dad gives my $500 for insentive to come and play, and we drive down to where the class is held. We go to the open house meet everyone then go check in at our casino hotel. Of course we play that night and I lose about $200 and call it a night. We attend the first night of class and I try to soak in everything I can, at this point I’m very intrigued. We play again that night and I end a little up, not big but up. Next day we attend class again and I’m really liking what these guys are teaching. To make this long read shorter, lol
    On the night after the last class, I made enough to give my dad his money back and have $500 in my pocket. I didn’t get on the table with the instructors( who cleaned that casino out!) but on my own rolls, following the betting strategies taught in class. After that I was hooked. I don’t get to play very often, but I work in a trip every three months or so. Since the first class I’ve had one trip not make money ( I lost $200, my friends who were with me lost $1,000 each). Every trip I’ve taken has made enough to pay for everything and give my wife slot machine money. I’ve gone from a $500 loan to a bank over $3,000.

    So, I guess I could have just said yes, it does work. But that’s not my style. If you practice I mean really practice and follow the strategy you can make some serious money and have fun doing it. Thank you to Dom, Matt, Pat and Rose for all the time they spent with me.

    BBD Glad that you did good . Now here comes the bad thing . You right off the bat did the wrong thing . I say this because when I took the class they said not to play untill you went home and practiced some time .First how do you think that you can win after spending all that time in class . You should have been Tired and not at your best ,even tho you may have thought different . When I took the class there was a former student that was there and he was saying how much money he was making but with out the way GTC teaches to bet . I asked the instructor about this after he left and he said not all listen to what we teach but 10% will .I hope that you are in the 10% . I know that I am not at this moment in time even tho I have been on this site for a while and have been rolling the bones for over 40 years .It is HARD to change bad things even tho you know that they are not right .Just saying .

    BBD, thank you for the live play report of how what GTC teaches actually works. Will we win every time–obviously no, but the casinos do not win from every player every time he or she plays. They build those multi hundred million buildings with the small mathematical edge they have on every wage made–except the odds bet of course. They also a super large bankroll often in the tens of millions of dollars.

    The difference between us as advantage players as opposed to all the other players in a casino is the fact that we have to developed our slight edge over the casinos with coaching and quality practice. And, yes we need a good bank roll to cover our occasional losses at the table. With our hard work getting the controlled throw and our bank roll to support out developed advantage, we are indeed the casino’s worst nightmare. Thank goodness for the chicken feeders at craps making high edge bets, players playing the crazy carnival table games, and the slot players. They make it possible for us to win a little from time to time for a net profit in the long run.
