Craps

Shreveport Seminar

Spread the love

I had the good fortune to attend the Primer Seminar last weekend in Shreveport. It was a learning and eye-opening experience, to say the least. I have played crap for years as a random roller and bet the same random way. After a couple of hours on Friday at the Open House, I knew I was at the right place to get serious about the game. The instructors were excellent in their explanations and their instructions. After just one day in class on Saturday, I went to a table that night to apply some of what we had learned. I applied the 5 Count to the randoms and that made a big difference to my rack. I am looking forward to the next Refresher Seminar in Shreveport and seeing No Field, Dom, Billy The Kid and Tornado along with the rest of the group.

Rose and Doc are so glad to hear that the class in Shreveport was so successful. Shreveport is one of our favorite cities to play the game we love so much and we were sorry that we were unable to be there. Hope to meet you at the 2019 class.

I drove 4 hours from Baton Rouge to attend the open house, why! Well I have been struggling with my throw and I needed a "coach" to look it over. I needed the expert eyes to tell me what I was doing wrong. Was it worth the 4 hour drive…..Hell yeah. I had Dom look over my throw and he made 3 adjustments. I made note of his adjustments and also the notes that NFF recommended. It was great to spend the time with them and have them look over my throw. I then made the 4 hour drive back home. I have practiced everyday using what they have told me and my throws have been improving. I have been keeping records with roll recorder and my SRR is back on the way up. I will be attending a refresher in Vegas and I can’t wait till then. I am also thinking of taking the seminar in AC also. Looking to make the end of 2018 good and the start of 2019 great!!! Thank you so much Dom and NFF.
