High Honey I'm Home

Spread the love

As many on this board know I had open heard surgery on Wed May 2nd for the replacement of the Aortic Valve and One bypass on a heart artery. I arrived home today shortly after lunch. So glad to no longer be a human pin cushion!!! This is very mayor surgery and I still feel a littler like a freight train ran over me– but doing much better.

Rose has been a rock and both daughters have been with us—one lives in our home town and the other flew in from West Texas and will be here several more days. Both have been great help for both Rose and I. Got home from the hospital today.

Prior to the surgery, really did enjoy reading the posts concerning the AC class. Would have enjoyed watching The Dominator and his long roll.

Look forward to seeing everyone in June at the SBC class.

So glad to hear you’re out of there. So sorry I couldn’t visit you like you did for me in Memphis, but have thinking about you and had you in my prayers.

Hope to see you soon,
Don

I’m very happy to hear you survived modern medical science. It sounds like the surgery was a bigger deal than I understood from you last year. June might be a little early after major heart surgery – be careful.

If you will recall, I applied at the VA for a new robot body to replace my mortal members. I was going to ask if you wanted to submit your request, too, along with mine, and if Alligator Rose wanted to participate in the specifications and feature selection. However, when I read the fine print, I found out it was made in China and that it only comes with a 30 day warranty. So, I decided to wait until they have a model made in America. I hope you’re not too disappointed.
