All I can say is “what a day”. We are here in Atlantic City for the seminar this weekend. Thursday is setup day. Our routine goes something like this. We wake up and try to find a game so we can play a session. Then we will meet everyone for breakfast, and go to the hotel where the seminar is being held so we can setup our equipment for the seminar.
So before breakfast, Dom and I find an open game and buy in. The first time we each got the dice not much happened. I was struggling with the feel and the dice just did not feel right so I did not do well. Dom gets the dice and uncorks a beautiful 43 roll hand. What a great start to the day. We color up and meet everyone for breakfast.
The setup goes well and then we all go to the White House Subs for lunch. If you have not been there, I highly recommend the place. After lunch our group goes back to the casino hotel and everyone goes to their rooms for a little rest.
Dom sent a text about playing another session, so I met him at the craps pit and we found an open game with only one player, and we buy in. Dom gets the dice first and has a short hand. I followed with a short hand. Then the magic happened. Dom gets the dice again and explodes with an 80 roll hand! It was a thing of beauty. The come betting worked to perfection. I want to thank Skinny for his marvelous explanation and description of how to play 5X odds games. I started with $15 pass and come bets with full odds, and when that wonderful hand ended I had my come bets up to $75 with full odds. It was a session that I will never forget.
Dom posted earlier about me spotting an issue with his setup. Since he made that correction he has been on fire. What a great day indeed!
