Well I spend most of the first week in December in Vegas. All day Monday and Tuesday and then Wednesday afternoon I was in Continuing Education classes I have to attend to keep my CPA license in effect..
Sally and I drove over from Los Angeles on Sunday in an uneventful drive. Stopped at one of the casinos going into Vegas to play before going on to the off strip casino we were staying at.
There were 3 casinos we could play at without having to drive anywhere. I played at the strip casino where my classes were held before the classes and/or at lunch time Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday before my afternoon class. Was happily surprised that they usually had one $5 table I could get to..
Played on the strip Wednesday morning before going to my afternoon class and drove down to the strip on Thursday since we stayed over an extra day to avoid the bad air from the Los Angeles fires that week.
I rolled the dice 48 different times. Was a winner on only 13 of those, broke even once and lost the other 34 times.
When I played at the casino coming into Vegas there were about 4 others at SL side of the table and I bought in at SL1 after the shooter made a point without delaying the game. My first roll a come out 5 followed by the 4 twice and then asix that I collected on followed by the seven so I started out down.
After 5 shooters that I lost a little on I got the dice back with a come out 10 followed By a 5-2 seven. Called it quits when both sides of the one table open became fairly full.
After checking in where we were staying started out with a roll of 5,6 and 7, followed by a roll of 7 and a roll of 8 that I lost just a little on. Started the roll of 7 with a point of 6 than I rolled right back for my first point made. Came out on a night and managed to repeat the six before the seven out.
Rolled one more time and started out with a four that came right back . Came out with a seven followed by another point of the 4 and then rolled a 9 followed by the seven and even though that roll was only 6 rolls it was my first win of the day even though I had rolled 6 times.
Overall I was down almost $200 on my trip and it was time to call it off for the day. I had 31 rolls for an average roll of 5.2 and a SRR of 3.67. Pretty bad except for any don’t players at the table.
More to follow.
