Craps

A nice day

Spread the love

Due to a lot of "life happens" I haven’t been able to get to a casino since late February/early March. I have been able to practice so this past Friday I worked out a day trip to a casino 30 min from my house. I would have preferred to take a trip to AC but that was not going to happen. So I pulled a small bankroll from my 401G, gathered up my wife and headed to the casino.
By the time we got there the table limits had gone up to $15 min and I was ready to have lunch and go home but my very supportive wife with new knees pointed out that my spot SL1 was open and " why come all the way down here and not play?" I realized she had a point so I rolled up to the table, bought in and presto the dice were in front of me.
There were seven long grim faces at the table with four of them at the SR end. Fortunately my intended landing spot was mostly clear. My first hand was a short 15 throws with the dice bouncing in opposite directions. I realized right away that my grip was splitting the dice. I adjusted and made a few passes but when the seven came I was up on four numbers with 3x odds so the hand was a net loss.
The random rollers weren’t much help either. I 5 counted the first guy and when he passed the 5 count I placed the 6 and 8. He threw a seven on the next roll. 🙁 . The next guy that made it through the five count I made a come bet and he threw a 7 on the sixth roll. 🙂 Of the next 5 players only one made it past the 5 count and I made a come bet and he threw a seven. This was starting to work. My second time with the dice I pulled out my 3×5 card and scanned it while the crew was taking down the losing bets of which there were many. This table was in desperation mode with many of them chasing their losses. This hand went much better. Before I knew it I was up on 4 numbers with 3x odds. then I started hitting the 5 and 10 over and over with max odds. I never got up on the 4,9 or 6 except when they were the point because I was throwing a lot of 5s and 10s and pressing by pressing my odds instead of placing the number. By the time the hand ended I had held the dice for 30 min or so, made 4 numbers to the fire bet, which made those on it happy and turned the session into a net profit for me. Now this was no monster hand nor was it a 4 or 5 digit win but I showed a nice profit for such a short trip and turned a lot of frowns upside down. Even the crew was smiling. The dice came around to me very fast but my legs were getting wobbly and I knew they needed rest before I would be ready to throw again so I passed the dice. Best part of all this is that my legs are getting stronger and since I got rid of the brace on my left leg my ankle is getting flexible enough to allow me to get up on my toes and get out further onto the table. My wife and I had a nice lunch on her since she won a little at slots while I was throwing. It was a short session/trip but since "winning is the most fun". We had a blast.

Absolutely loved loved your post. It is so satisfying to see that someone is using not only our throw successfully, but he/she is following our betting suggestions and also using his/her head by not trying to roll when one gets tired. So smart. All of these are signs of a true advantage player.

Congratulations on a nice winning trip. Hope to see you in the casinos soon. Everyone on this board can learn from your post. Thanks for taking the time to share.
