Full Pay JOB

Spread the love

Are there any Total Rewards properties that have Full Pay JOB machines, especially in $1 units? VP is my pause from craps game.

I’ve checked VPFree and can’t find anything under $5, and $5 is a bit out of my BR comfort level. IMO you need to put about $2500 into a $5 machine to play well.

Also, I’d be interested in knowing about some play strategies, and I don’t mean ‘play until you hit a 4 of a Kind or a Royal. When to quit, in other words, is an issue I don’t seem to have a good answer to. Obviously, if you play any game in Vegas long enough, they will burn you. So, when do you know when to lock up a win or to cut your losses, assuming you have a decent buy-in.

Much appreciated.

To be fair, there is a class this weekend. I’m sure a lot of folks are focused on that.

I’m not too familiar with Full Pay VP, but I’m guessing the house still has an edge, however small. So my question would be, "what is your purpose of playing VP?"

If it is to take a break from craps, then play until you feel rested or get bored. Or until the craps table clears out. If you are playing for comps, I’m sure somebody has some suggestions (personally I don’t care about comps). It sounds like you are not playing just to get your "time" in for the casino host.

Full Pay JOB returns 99.54%. That means that the house edge is very small. As good as or better than craps, unless the controlled shooter is dead on during the session for a sustained period. This is my feeling anyway. No one is ever throwing perfect dice, so luck is a very important factor in both games.

I am playing for both comps and diversion, if possible. The casinos really like you to play machines as you probably know, and VP, correctly played is pretty low risk.

My inquiry was really seeking the ‘systems’ people use for VP. You can play any game until you ultimately lose in Vegas, because the stats are based on mathematical infinity. We are present at our particular game for only a snapshot in time. Betting strategies are designed to cash in on the upswing variances that we see, regardless of whether we help create them or not. With a 99.54% payback JOB will have upswings. The question is when and how to hit one of them an quit. I have my own way of playing it right now, but I’m always looking for new ideas, especially those that require discipline, because that often results in low losses and respectable wins.

I believe DaPorker,Section Eight, and Mr Finese were into VP. Perhaps they will chime in, or you could send them a PM.

I will be in Vegas April 14 – 17 and will be looking for full pay JOB, however, the only place I’ve seen them recently is at the Excalibur, an MLife property, those were $1 denominations, but I’ll definitely check out some of the Total Rewards properties as well and will let you know if I find any. It’s been a few years since I’ve been there, but I think I remember seeing some at the Rio, plan on visiting their seafood buffet when I visit, I’ll check it out.
