Pai Gow

Spread the love

Just out of curiousity, what is the longest anyone has played pai gow, and stayed even? I guess it’s been a long time since I have really played, but the other night I bought in for $100, and ended up playing for the better part of 7 hours. At the end of that time, I left the table with $110.

During the play, I was up to $200 at the high, and down to about $50 at the low.

I know I probably should have left when I was up $100 in profit, but I was waiting / hoping for my spot on the craps table, which I never did end up getting.

Pai Gow is a game we play as a rest stop from craps, since we can sit down and play for small stakes with a game with a low house edge. It is also can be a very slow game with few decisions per hour. Doc does not play the "prop" since they have such a high house edge.
