grip Question

Spread the love

Can my middle finger being to low maybe a 1/4 inch lower than the other two cause a wobble?

If this is a problem and I have fixed it can I go play?

Or should I take maybe 500 to a 1000 throws on the practice table to make sure I have reformed a good habit?

I mean it took some time to create this problem and you know it has become a habit and since we are not to think but to play when we are at the table, because our throw is a habit, a built in rhythm, what to do?

This brings me back to am I there to play or to win?

B-Man,

I guess the answer depends on whether or not you want to win, or just gamble. If you want to gamble, take the quick fix and go to the casino. If you want to win, you have to ingrain the grip change into your muscle memory by taking the time to practice and become consistent with the grip change.

I hope this helps someone.

NFF is right on the money, just great advice.

I had a similar problem and my index finger had crept up in my grip about 1/8 inch. It to the practice rig and keep working on it took me 2 weeks of constant practice to ingrain my grip change. Go to the practice table, it will be worth the time invested.

After practicing my corrected grip I have had 4 40+ hands in the last 2 weeks.

I can say he does not want to gamble he wants to win. 😀

Winning isn’t everything but it ranks right next to oxygen….

Bman,

Having seen you throw many times in the past I know you will head to your practice rig or table and make many throws. As I have heard you say many times "I want to make money." Know you will make a good adjustment. Look forward to seeing you soon.
