In all the classes I have taken from GTC the shot used is down the line, and I am sure for
most folks it is the best shot.
Over the past year I have been working on a shot cross the table right into the middle of the
corner. It may sound strange when you talk about throwing right into the mixing bowl, but
I have done this with some very good results for two reasons.
1… on high tables it is very hard for many of us to get far enough over the table to throw
down the line and miss the outer edge of the mixing bowl.
2….if you throw right into the center of the bowl, it is almost flat and seems to keep the dice from
going either right or left. Also I have found that for me I just have a better shot here. Also if my
shot is decent, I can move the dice closer or back further from the back wall to get the best results.
The numbers you get tell you if your shot is working based on the set you are using. For instance
if I am using the 3v and I get, 3/3 3/1 3/6 or5/6 5/3 or 5/1 my shot is finishing on the 3/v
axis which is what I want. If my shot finishes on the 3/v 2/v axis I have only two ways to make
a 7 rather than 4.
Many times I find that just changing my shot from down the line to the corner or sometimes
from the corner to down the line, my shot provides more of the results I want rather than
trying to adjust my shot.

All this tells me is that they are not having success with the toss as GTC teaches, bottom line, they are losing money in the casino’s.
Why are they losing money? There could be a number of reasons but I do know one thing. Those students who practice what GTC teaches perfectly do win money and are successful.
Look at your game and practice. Is your grip perfect, do you practice your GRIP daily, do you practice on a regular basis with and with out chips, do you practice target shooting and are you betting the correct way.
If your answer to any of these questions is NO, then I bet you are not winning $’s and you are looking to change your shot and or experimenting with other shots,
Maybe it is time for you to take another class, a Tune-up, an Elite Video taping or all 3 at the same time.
I play craps 2 to 3 times per week, I play now more than I ever have in my life. I play on a regular basis with from 2 to 8 instructors or students every time I play. I prefer to play with GTC trained shooters because most , not all, play the game correctly. Most, not all, bet correctly and most, not all win money.
I watch what every body does at the table. I never say if someone is doing anything wrong unless they ask me for help. If you ask I will tell you, you may not like what you here from me but I think every one in GTC knows me, I tell it like it is. I do not sugar coat what I say, this is how I was brought up and I know I piss some folks off at times but this is me. You certainly will know where you stand with me.
But please remember one thing, I want to help you be successful.
Do I win every time I play, NO I do not, do I win more than I lose, you bet I do. Why does this happen, because I am better than most, this is not true. I win more than I lose because I follow everything GTC teaches.
Keep it simple KISS!!!!, Practice what we teach and you too will win.
How long has it been since you had one of the GTC instructors look at your toss.
The GTC instructors get their tosses looked at 6 times per year, every time we teach a class we are looking at each others toss to see if it is correct. Do we need corrections to our toss, yes we do, every time someone’s toss needs a small tweak.
Now that is pressure to do it the correct way.

Being a math and science guy, there are so many things that are wrong with this shot. Throwing the dice on an angle, aiming for the mixing bowl …. so many things. I am sure that some extended rolls have happened with this. But this is like the guy that told me on the phone the other day that lately he has had some good rolls by taking the dice, setting them, and then just whipping them down the table. Funny right? But here is the point —–
A blind squirrel can find an acorn every now and then and a dice shooter can have a good roll just whipping them down the table and not trying any control. I will tell you that somewhere in the country right now as I am typing this someone is on an hour roll just by whipping the dice. But does he have an edge?
So here is the thing, I am sure that good rolls have happened this way, but have you really tested your skill with that shoot but either using smart craps or just manually calculating your SRR over at least 3000 rolls? I would guess not, but that is what really has to be done. Just having observation that some good rolls have happened doesn’t cut it. Untill you do the math, you don’t know if you are throwing with an edge.
Do the math.
IMHO, there is not any reason that anyone should try to make the GTC throw better. Honestly, it can’t be improved. It is based in the physics of a moving projectile and science doesn’t lie.

We all throw the shot the way it was taught and we love it. We simply
vary the landing zoning either further or closer to the back wall if we go
right down the line. I shoot into the corner most times and if my shot hits
the spot I want, I can get a better reaction than when I go down the line.
I don’t know why this is, I have a table and have played every day for the past 6
years… I think I understand my shot, both the good and bad of it.
So we all use the gtc shoot, the last fews weeks a 62, 41,37, and 21 winning sessions out of
26 sessions…. I would have thought anyone that teaches the GTC shot would have been
pleased with those results.
