What can we say. The class was fantastic. Rose and Doc had the pleasure of working with 11 outstanding primer students. Their improvement from Saturday morning to Sunday afternoon was a thing of beauty. I know The Dominator and Mr. Finesse are already putting together the classes for 2016, so be on the lookout so you can continue on your journey to becoming the advantage player you want to be.
Now to some of the fun stuff. We don’t pretend to remember each and every roll over the 7 day period we were in AC, but here are some of the highlights.
We arrived on Wed about mid-afternoon. Very tired as we had to get up at 4:00 am to catch an early flight to the East Coast. After checking in and a short rest, we headed down to the tables. And there they were. A bunch of GTC’ers crowned around a table having a ball. We managed to squeeze in at the end of the table as blockers and make a few bets. No Field Five had a great hand–must have been in the mid 20’s. Sorry to say that was about it for the evening. Too many short rolls, but a few short ones in the low teens where we would break even, lose a little or make a few $$$’s. Went to bed about even for the day.
On Thursday we slept a little later than usual–still a little fatigued from the prior days travel. There were several people we knew at the table. Nothing spectacular. Finally Rose got the dice and had a nice roll in the low 20’s. Brought us all back. Doc was struggling–making the 5 count was almost a success. Rose left the table to join Mr. Finesse at some multiplier VP games. She hit 4 of a kind with a good kicker as well as a high multiplier. This brought us back after some of the short rolls at the craps table.
Friday was not much of anything to brag about and soon it was time for the open house.
Sat and Sun were class time and we spent very little time at the tables. We simply don’t like to play when we are tired.
On Monday we had several sessions and we were holding our own. Then Rose got the dice and they were a thing of beauty. She banged out a fantastic 35 – lots of good numbers. We were on our way. Nothing else spectacular but with conservative betting and using the 5 count we were still down because of the prior days–not much but success well within reach.
On Tuesday morning was the usual up and down and staying about even. After lunch we headed back to the table refreshed and ready to roll. Rose got the dice first and did not make the 5 count. Doc did worse and had a point 7 out. We were the only 2 GTC’ers at the table with a couple of chicken feeders. Rose had a very respectible roll in the teens. They they came to Doc and before he started to roll Rose made a $5 fire bet and the stick said "she has a fire bet, why don’t you." So being the gambler that I am I went with $2!!! The dice were looking good and for a change if one or both dice got away from me it did not hurt—even one time making a point when the left die went rolling all over the place. At about roll 20 I made a point and then a come out 7. (So we got all our odds back — pay day??? — and started over.) Went back up on the 6 and 8 for a little less thinking that the come out 7 just might be an indication of what might come later.
Doc was in a zone when it became obvious that there was some excitement on the table. Doc had made 4 to the fire bet and didn’t even know it. He needed the 9 and 10. On the next come out roll he set for 5 and 9 and what do you know, he sets a point of 9. About 4 rolls later he hits the 9 and the table erupts. He decided to try for the 10 (the only number needed) and use the 2V set. Another bingo–the 10 is set for the 6th and final point. After a couple of paydays the old devil appears and the roll is over. Final count 45 rolls–counted by both Rose and Doc. AND 5 to the fire made. Yea!
We went around one more time but with no success so colored up and left. A really nice profit for the day.
Here is the funny part concerning the above turn with the dice. As a little background the casino where we were playing, the $500 chips have a little green on them. After the 7 out I was still pretty much in my zone. I had been kidding around with several of the dealers and when they were paying off the fire bet they pushed over a chip to me. It appeared to be a green chip. I pushed it back and said "come on guys pay me correctly I don’t want that chip." The stick man says " if you don’t want it I will take it." I said "if you pay me the $500 in black you can have it." The stick picks up the chip, shows me and as you might guess it was a $500 chip. I took it and was glad to get it. Doc needed to wake up!!!
That was it for the trip, and we got up on Wed and headed home. We had a nice 4 figure win for the trip so the old bank roll is higher.
Can’t wait to see the 2016 schedule that Dominator and Mr. Finesse are working on. With the "new" GTC it should really be a good year. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.

Had been playing for a while and decided it was time to take a break and color up–had one $500 chip in the mix. Left the table but did not bother to cash in my chips. Came back in about an hour and got a spot at the end of the table next to Mr. Finesse. Bought in for a few more chips so that I would have some green and red. Put the $500 chip in the rack in the middle of the green and red so that it would be much more difficult for a "rail bird" to snitch a chip from me. Made a come bet, it went to the 5 and I wanted $30 in odds. Picked up a red and a green chip (or so i thought) and gave ir to the dealer. She picked them up and looked at me real funny and said "What is this?" You got it, it was the purple chip. To add insult to injury I did the same thing again. Mr. Finesse was laughing his fanny off and said "Doc, you better put that in your pocket before you lose it." Being the good guy who knows how to follow orders at home I did as he suggested.
Oh well, still a great trip and more importantly we were with some great GTC people the whole weekend. Rose and Doc would not take anything for the the GTC experience.
