The North East Gang held their weekly meeting at our favorite Conn. Casino on Saturday Aug. 8th.
Members present were Johnc1, Angel, MichelleZ, Professor, Luck Be A Lady, Goddess, Sandtrap & Mr. Finesse.
Results for the morning session was less than successful until the Professor had a magical hand of 47. He turned a losing morning session into a winning session. Everyone recouped most of their morning loss and a few of us made a profit. Thank you Professor and I will have you added to the records section with your 47 hand.
The Gang then took a lunch break, which we needed because we had played for almost 4 hours.
After lunch all the tables were full so Goddess & Sandtrap decided to head back home. I wish they had stayed because a few spots opened up at our favorite table. Luck Be A Lady and I bought in at SL2 and SL3. A few more spots opened up on the R side so Johnc1 bought in along with MichelleZ.
Then Angel joined in and we had 5 at a full table.
I had 2 money making hands in the teens and a few folks left the table. With the dice at the opposite end of the table SL1 opened up and I moved into my favorite spot and Angel took my spot of SL2 with LBA Lady on the hook. I proceeded to have one of those hands where everything felt perfect. Picking up the dice with my grip and the dice never split (felt like they were glued together). The only problem was the heat and humidity, dice and fingers were sticky, I needed to really wipe my fingers off before every toss.
I don’t know how many tosses my hand was but I threw the dice 3 times and there was a stick change, and then another stick change and the Red came out 4 throws into the next stick change on a shot I knew was bad, 1 of the dice rolled out into the come box for a 5 – 2 7out. The hand had to be in the mid 40’s, estimating approx. 20 tosses per stich change plus the other 7 tosses = about 45 or 46 .
This hand was one where I was almost calling my numbers, I was using Set Transposition to make specific numbers because my dice were just glued together and stopping with in about 4 to 5 inches of the back wall. Every number was covered with come bets and max odds and the 6 was doubled dipped with a place bet and the 10 was also bought besides the come bet with max odds.
The funniest thing was I only threw 1 eight and that was my point when the 7 came out. A great session and everyone made $$$$$$.

I would agree, it appears to be about a 47 minute hand with the stick changes and extra 7 rolls. Under normal conditions that would be about a 47 roll hand. But if it was mostly GTC at the table and they were able to move the dice at a reasonable pace, it could easily have been a 50 or 60 something hand.
In any event, congratulations on the nice hand and glad everyone had a fun trip.

Set transposition is when you use the asymmetrical set as opposed to to how you regularly throw the set. Example. I use the 2V set with the 6/3 facing and hard 4 on top.
The asymmetrical set is 6/4 facing and hard 4 on top . There are only 2 changes in primaries and double pitches between the sets. All secondary, one die off axis and 2 off axis remain the same. 6/3 facing tends to bring 5’s and 9”s while 6/4 facing tends to bring 4’s and 10’s. The 3V set works this way too and I don’t think there are any others that benefit
as do the 2V and 3V.
