First, I want to say how much I enjoyed being able to teach again in Las Vegas. I was very appreciative of everyone’s welcome, and how happy they were to see me return. The students were amazingly ready to absorb everything, and the progress from Saturday to Sunday was unbelievable.
Wednesday morning the dealer at the tables was interesting. One base dealer told me, “You can’t eat on the table.” (I am a diabetic, and was eating some crackers.) Of course, he didn’t say we couldn’t drink “on” the table. I did say I wasn’t “on” the table, but that didn’t make any difference to him. He remained quite a sourpuss.
Then Thursday morning there was the crazy bettor betting blacks on the hardways, and crazy mad when he lost, buying back in 3-4 times. He moved tables 3 times that we were there, looking for wins, which never materialized.
Thursday afternoon I rolled the dice, and they landed one on top of the other. My point was 5, and the top die was a 2. The dealers didn’t know what to do, and called the supervisor over, who smashed the dice. We asked what is the casino procedure, and he answered either to separate the dice and call the number, or smash them and it’s a no call. He elected to have a no call. We never knew what the bottom number was. (Was it a 3? We’ll never know.)
All through the day, there were two young drunks playing next to me, who decided I was their “Grandma,” and kept calling me that. They were poker players, and didn’t know all the ins and outs of craps, so I kept reminding them of the good bets versus the bad ones they were making. They started making money, and kept thanking me for being their “Grandma,” and kept reappearing every time we were on the table.
We didn’t get many chances to shoot because there were so many GTC’ers, but Sandtrap did manage a 35 and a 22 roll on Wednesday.

But a lot did play while taking the class .
This was before they started teaching how to bet and I did hear some crazy stories about bets made from former students .
Glad to see that some of your students could see you in action .Winning is FUN .

We deal with them constantly at our favorite place
Most of them are DP and DC players — always nice to see them take a beating
And their constant "chip clicking" is one of the many reasons I bring earplugs with me to the table
