Congrats to Goddess. She and Charlie are amazing. I missed Charlies 93 but I was there when he threw a 50 one morning a couple of years back. I have been there for many other high rolls in the 20s-30-s. They are the most disciplined craps shooters I know. In addition, Goddess is always helping others improve their throw. Couldn’t be happier.

As always, the Goddess rocks. Nobody is more disciplined at the table. She does it all correctly, just as we teach. We would have loved to be there even if not on the table. Something as exciting as this is well worth simply watching. Bring it on to Vegas.

What a MONSTER hand by Marilyn, a thing of beauty.

I was at the table end Marilyn was throwing into next to Luck Be A Lady (a primer student) and we had a ball blocking and betting. One of the key’s to this had were the 4 dealers working this table. They were into the game and in complete control, working as a team and never a problem booking any bets, all excellent people. They were also into the bets for the dealers, especially when a few of us were putting big odds up for them ( when the red came I had 10 on the pass for the dealers with 25 in odds), and over $700.00in play.

There were 9 GTC people on the table and only 2 others who did know how to play the game, thank god.

Just a great day.

AC Report June 2015:

We arrived Tuesday around 12 noon, and met up with Jack, Mad88, and Luck Be A Lady. None of us really shot very well, and the only money makers were Sandtrap’s 22 and 13, Jack’s 14, and Mad88’s 10. After lunch Mr. Finesse joined us, and things weren’t much better. Mad88 rolled a 14, 17,, and 7, and Sandtrap had a 14 roll. I gave my spot to Mr. Finesse. In the evening, Luck Be A Lady joined us, but again there was not much to write home about. Sandtrap rolled an 11, 3, and 16. Mad88 rolled an 11 and 12, Jack rolled a 21, and Mr. Finesse rolled a 12. We did manage to make a bit of money.

Wednesday morning again we pretty much stunk. Mr. Finesse rolled 8, 8, and 5, making some money on those rolls using come bets. When Mr. Finesse gave up, I managed one 15 roll. We decided to retire to breakfast. Feeling refreshed, we tried again, and Sandtrap rolled 3, 16, 8, and 13. Mad88 rolled a nice 23 and a 12.

My first two rolls were 7 and 6, and then wham, schazaam, out came the gorgeous 71. Mr. Finesse and Luck Be A Lady were blocking at the other end. Jack and Mad88 were at stick right. Sandtrap was on my right at stick left, and I was stick left two. There were two other players at the table, who fortunately knew how to play the game, and didn’t hold up the betting or pay-outs. As soon as I hit 50, my arthritic back started to bother me, and I started sitting down in between pay-outs. However, my grip and follow through felt absolutely perfect, and I knew I could get to another 60 rolls. At 60, I relaxed and figured whatever happened, happened. I had no idea how many more rolls my back would permit me. I don’t remember how many points I hit, but the 7’s came only during the come outs until the final one at 71. I felt slightly bad for the come bettors, but only a little. I was so happy the 7 came only on the come outs, and I was still throwing. As Dom said, with that many rolls, the 7 is bound to appear at some point, and how nice that it was only during the come outs. The dealers were amazing. They were quick and accurate, and worked as a team, thereby helping me reach the 71. When I finally threw the last 7, there were tears in my eyes, and I ran over to Mr. Finesse, who gave me an enormous hug. He also said I looked tired. The dealers and supervisor applauded, as did the other two players, and we all cashed in. Those who play with me, know I am super conservative in my betting, and I had to ask Sandtrap how to press my bets. (I had over $900 on the table in the end.) I had never been that high before. The dealers were patient and understanding. After we cashed out, Mr. Finesse proceeded to text all the instructors, my phone proceeded to receive all their texts of congratulations, and Dom has posted how proud he is of his first student. Thank you for not returning our money that very first weekend at Station Casino in 2002!

That afternoon, we should have known it would be hard to follow, but I did manage one 19 roll, Sandtrap had one 17 roll, and Mad88 rolled a 48 and a 19 from the right! He found his new spot. It was beautiful. After dinner, Jack had a 29 roll, and Mr. Finesse rolled an 11 and a 10, both money makers.

Thursday we were up and down, with everyone managing a roll or two in the teens, and Jack left for home. We went to visit some dealers in another casino, had lunch outdoors in the Gardner’s Basin, and Mr. Finesse drove Luck Be A Lady down the shore road. After dinner, we found JumbotronRon at the table who told us he had had a nice roll in the 20’s, and then had a 23 while we were there. I fell asleep before my head hit the pillow at 9:15, but Mr. Finesse and Luck Be A Lady stayed on.

Friday morning, I started off with a beautiful 32 roll, but then my back was killing me, and I couldn’t shoot any more. Luck Be a Lady had left for home, Mr. Finesse had decided to keep his profit and played VP, and Sandtrap didn’t manage anything. We all went home with a nice profit. Thank you Dom and all the GTC instructor friends who have tweaked my toss over the years!!! And a hearty thank you again to everyone who has prayed for me this past year, which has kept the leukemia away, and allowed me to be able to do this miracle.

The hand was a thing of beauty and I am glad I was able to watch and be a part of it from the table end with the dice coming right at.

It had been a awhile and it felt like old times to play with everybody again. It was Great to see you and Sandtrap at the tables again. It’s very rare that I get to ask the person next to me what the count it is? It was great to hang out and play with Mr. Finesse who had a few nice rolls to keep me in it. We had some laughs n fist bumps when he hit his pts. He gave me some good advice on trajectory that led to me having a few more decent rolls. It was very nice to meet Luck B a Lady, who also made me a few bucks. It felt like old times n it was refreshing to have a table with some other shooters in AC. I have some good memories with GTC n recently I’ve been running into people at the casino that I know through GTC n it has been really cool just playing, hanging out, and catching up.I value what I learned through GTC. I really think they have done an excellent job through the years of providing the right information for players to master their game. A lot of the wisdom makes a lot more sense to me as I mature and evolve as a player n I thank them for that.

Sadly, I missed Goddess’ monster hand by about two hours, as we got a late start driving in from CT.

I was so happy to finally meet Goddess & Sandtrap – and to see MadBB who I haven’t played with since my primer in AC last September! Also great to meet Jumbotron Ron who I’d read so much about on these boards!

I really appreciated the advice I was given from Goddess. I’ve been practicing hard from SR1-1/2 using her suggestions and I’m trying hard to make this my ‘go to’ position. Like MadBB, I found a comfort level at SR that
I never managed to develop at SL. Now I just have to roll like him! LOL

Mr. Finesse, Luck B a Lady, Jesse, – so nice to see all of you. Goddess, Sandtrap, Jumbotron Ron, MadBB – Hope you can come to Mohegan some Saturday morning and roll with the CT crew!! We’d love to have you join us!!
