Matched dice pair

Spread the love

I remember seeing in one of the craps books how to figure whether a pair of dice is matched.
Or am I mistaken? Anyone here knows?

If the dice do not match, would the throwing results favor certain numbers?
Then a mismatched pair would skew the results of the data for
figuring your SRR.

Great questions. However this old math challenged old f**t really has no idea.

I will look forward to seeing what others might have to say.

PS—the only was I could tell if a pair of dice were mismatched would be if they were of different colors or they had different numbers on each die. DUH!!!!!

If I remember correctly the difference is on the 3 pip. "B" type the 3 is oriented 90 degrees from "A" type. This means that in the 3V set you will have to rotate the dice
180 degrees to get your set. Therefore it should not change your SRR.

And if you mix type A with Type B how do these mismatched dice look and work?

Never seen it in a casino and not at home either. Don’t know. Guessing that you would just have to be careful when you make your set. I understand that it is rare but does happen
once in a while.
