Again, silly if you are not coming/going to these things. The worst thing I heard anyone say was that they had a ton of fun. Most paid for the trip during play and had a great time. The best? Well, we try not to give too much away but 62 numbers if you happened to be at the right casino Saturday night.

How much would you earn if a GTCer you were with had 62 numbers??? How about if you had 23 which more than one person had??

And no, I am not associated with GTC except as an attendee who just started in mid January. Of course, I must admit that a bunch of TV did not get watched and some work around the house waited for me to practice a few hours a day. However so far, one $10,000 win a month starting March and a bunch of low thousand wins when I do not hit. So far, by actual record I have had three losing trips (all driving so not real expenses) and all of them were money previously won. Great annoyance by me for my mistakes. Much lower than my medium wins. AND, within a few days won back after correction practice sessions at home videoing myself and comparing it to that video available on the web site (the $149.00 one) from about 18:22 onward. Think about that, spend $149 once, get to review it comparing my videoed throw to it (if you do not curse I can promise you will comparing your throw to theirs. Especially after seeing some good ones by you and then a flub for no good reason, just silliness).

If you are videoing yourself, get a camera that can do at least 120 frames/second. A new iPad will do it as will some of the older but more recent ones. The Coach’s Eye app (all of $ or $6) is excellent but there are a few others. After my next win I am getting a GoPro Black. 240 frames/second will not just show me but the dice turning all the way down. 120 frames/second at the far end of the table where the dice land does show the throw, the line, the way the dice come out and the dice turning until they get close to the camera.

Want to make an excellent investment? Arrange a private lesson on the Friday (or earlier? don’t know if available earlier) before a seminar. You get your throw fixed. Immediately find a place to try it out and win enough to cover the flight, your lesson, your seminar and… well it depends on how well you can follow the throwing and betting instructions.

Oh, how well are you using this site? do you know about the toothpick drill?? check viewtopic.php?f=5&t=471&p=833&hilit=toothpick#p833 read all these posts. That one thing will earn you thousands if you can do it and keep your dice square to the table otherwise. Funny thing about that keeping the dice square. Could not figure out what I was doing wrong. Dom comes over and in two throws (he had it in one but waited to make sure) noted to me I was throwing left. I would have sworn I was swinging my arm straight — so much for trusting what I felt. That is now out the window. If your body is off crooked will feel straight AND COST YOU MONEY. Do not trust how it feels, follow the lines on the table.

Personally, if you do not know the history — I was told about GTC in January. After 3 decades of not playing because I was tired of losing though I LOVE the game, finally a way to win. I was going to be teaching my course to others the weekend of the AC seminar. Called Dom and asked about private tutoring. With a friend it was going to be only about twice a regular live seminar by you and a friend. You get Dom for a whole day with just 2 people. Booked it immediately. Did it while also booking in for Tunica in April for a refresher. (YES, I booked the refresher right after the private lesson).

I teach others a physical skill and know what it takes. Anyway, already had bought a practice rig. Practiced what Dom taught for 2 to 4 hours a day — as noted, not too much TV time and a few (or more) things did not get done around the house. Within 3 weeks, winnings had paid for the private seminar (including flight and hotel) and made me enough to order a full sized table. As a matter of fact, I had a 5 figure win and ordered the table while awaiting the plane home.

Had middle level wins (a slow day was $400 and a middle day was $1200 range) during the month with only two losing days — I must admit there was one where I lost a bunch of other day’s winnings trying to fix my throw in the casino rather than going home and fixing it there before going back (I would love to say lesson learned but I have too much fun and seem to forget that occasionally). If you are with me and let me throw when I am tired I will later yell at your for not dragging me away from the table.

Then, went to the Tunica seminar. Got my throw tuned-up. Big win, small loss but only equal to the comps I got so about even for that second session and a fabulous fun time at the seminar. Met great people. Eager to go with some of my new friends. I can truly say that I would go with these people and have great fun even with a loss BUT I NO LONGER WORRY ABOUT LOSING.

If you are hesitant or impatient like me, get together with a few people and book a private with Dom. You will love it and love him.

Oh, ask him for some 18 year old Scotch… Then, go win enough to buy him another bottle as a present out of your spare change.

God this game is fun now. That is why I run on with this. More fun than I have had in a decade. The money is nice but I have quite a bit already. It is the fun of not worrying about losing. Yes, you lose sometimes but no longer losing in the longer run (which, for me has never been more than two sessions). Practice like hell. If the practice is not getting you better results, book a lesson. The cost is much less than a few losses at the tables and will pay large dividends in the future. Hell, I do not even know if Dom wants to book a lot of private lessons. I can promise you he makes more in a mediocre day at the tables. If I can now do it, I am sure he does much better.

Last thing, these are on rolls that have at max been in the 20s. Still working on a 30+ number roll. God, the way I bet that will be close to table max on a quarter table… can you feel that smile?

Hi guys, fyi as far as a camera with at least 120 frames/second. Well I actually use my iPhone 6. Go to the camera and slide the selection at the bottom to the SLO-MO selection. This iPhone 6 gives me great slo-mo video. This will record on 240 FPS. I do have a tripod and I bought these two items so I can record myself.
