I’m sitting back reflecting on my 5 days of Craps Play this past week in Atlantic City. First of all I want to say thank you to the whole GTC crew for letting me come and hangout all day Friday at the open house and Meet n Greet. I really had a good time with like minded people. It was a good vibe and Dom’s 41 was like Deja Vu from a roll he had at the Taj about 9 years ago. The class was small but good. There were some students who really looked good on Mon. and Tues. I played 6 session and wound up down $400. It was totally on me. If AC had moderate rolls and some Good rolls like it did this past week I would be there more often. Overall it was a great time but like Uncle Dom says, "Winning is the most fun."
The guy that mastered his game two weeks ago and who really played a good month of craps was just not around. I wish he was cause it would of been a much more fun week. Craps play wise I did not get the money out there when I needed to. I ran into multiple situations where I would be up on 3 or 4 numbers and numbers would start repeating and I wouldn’t be on them. I knew I needed to place these numbers and get aggressive on the come bets. I had a 22 roll and only had 3 hits. There were a lot of crap numbers too. On a few rolls I didn’t get 8 hits until about 25 rolls. Nick had a nice 31 that I didn’t play TBS on because it was at the $25 table. I liked the way he played that roll. I took minimal risk and played pretty even the whole trip. I played a very generic game and did not care for it. I’m still confident I’ll get to where I want to be and I damn sure have plenty magical nights in me.!I’m getting better with different situations that come about by using The Big Skinny. Dom’s 41 was on a $25 table so I abandoned TBS and totally butchered the roll place betting. He started killing the Hardways so I still wound up doing alright. I made money on the good rolls but not what I should have. It’s a rough game sometimes and you have to just learn from your mistakes. I was looking at this quote earlier and this what I’m focusing on.
"Like any strategy for betting one needs to remain flexible and vigilant at the tables. For example, if you have 3 bets on the table (PL and 2 come) and are hitting a number repeatedly that you are not on, you need to consider getting up on that number. You could take some odds off one of your bets to place the number you are hitting, you could take additional money from the rails to place the number, you could just risk additional come bets until you get up on the numbers you are hitting or you could decide to stay the course and wait to hit the numbers you are on. These are decisions one has to be prepared to make at the table based on your knowledge of your own game, bankroll and tolerance for risk. I and no one else can give you a foolproof formula for all situations. You need to understand your own game and decide how best to risk your money to make money." Skinny
As far as the shot goes, I got some great work in with Pitt Boss on Friday but unfortunately it didn’t translate to the tables. I did a bad job of executing but I recognized it and became a big blocker for guy’s whose shot’s were looking good. B-Man had made me aware of my wrist years ago causing my dice to land on edge and pretty much eliminating my edge. I’m Working on some things to get the dice to land flat and repel straight back. I have to fix that first and foremost.
Great seeing everybody. I hope everyone enjoyed in AC.

Early in the session I had $15 pass on a 3rd point come out. $15 w/30 odds on 4. $15 come on 5 $30 odds, 15 on 6 and 8 $30 odds on each. $30 Hard 4 $30 Hard 8. I thought U should work the come out. I shook myself off n rolled the Hard 4 n only collected $15 off my flat bet. I worked the odds on every come out after that n I definitely made money on them. It was a good decicision.
Why am I at a $15 min non smoking table betting $30 odds U ask? I showed up at 3 days b4 the class to scout these tables I never really played. Had a good battle n walked after 6 turns with the dice up $150. I couldn’t break it open but I envisioned myself at this table with racks full of chips. Everyday during the past week I played at this casino the table was closed. It was open tonight! It was $15 n non smoking. I felt more comfortable with the $30 odds to start. It probably cost me $200 if I would of bet $50 to start but U can’t necessarily say that because I was comfortable at $30. Highest I got was taking 2 hits on an 8 with $15 125 odds and having a 6 at 15 with $125 odds with a $60 place bet. This was on a cf’er roll. He slaughtered the 6/8 I was quick on the 8 but slow on the 6. I tried to rush that place bet up there for 1 more hit but in reality odds should had been maxed 2 6’s ago with 1 hit on a $150 place bet. I played it decent but far from perfect. When I play it perfect I get excited!!

I also have problems with dice landing flat and hitting the back wall exactly square and coming back the same. Think that is something that I will always have to continue to work on. Better now than it used to be so have hope of a permanent fix in the not too distant future!
How many of you went straight for Sharpshooter’s book (if you have it) after reading this post? I know I did!! LOL! I am so attached to my dice influencing library that it is one of the few things I brought with me when I moved to Mexico!

Do you twist the dice slightly because throwing across the middle the outside dice is closer to the wall and the twist will compensate some for that? I do that
sometimes when the mixing bowl is a wider arch and there is much less flat wall forcing the dice to the middle of the table. Do you still stand square to the
table or at a slight angle to establish a straight line?

My friend rolled a 42 and the same thing I kept the hit on the 10 when the $100 buy was supposed to go up. 10 came again n this time I did buy it for $100 on top of the come bet with the bases loaded and some double parks. 10 came again n I caught $195 n the $110 off the come. By not making the move when the progression called for it I cost myself $195. Overall good day. Could of played it better but still a lucrative day.
