Dom says it- Mr.Finesse says it- Billy and Darrell they say it. And many of you on the board say it. I want to thank all of you for encouraging practice and Especially all the posters that record and post all their stories for all of us to share.
Do you know why? There are many ways to Influence others with the Phychology of Persuasion with comments and actions that can lead the stuborn to get an answer, get a result, get someone to act on that small comment and all the super posts about the "Practice Session".
I do not post often, but I do study this game of dice and I get encouaged by all of you in what you do in practice and the guidence to get better. Can anyone top Skinny’s encouragement or anlyisis of a problem in the tosses that we throw, or the percentage and mathimatics of the game. I have been doing this dice control for a long time. Dom, Bob, Darrel, Arman, Billy and the other instructors and assistant are my mentors. All you posters encourage ME by your well written practice or live game posts.
So, I want to thank all of you that I even have not met in person. I practice better and get going on my practice sessions espiecially before we have a class. 2015 is ready to "KICK OFF" for our new year.
So, if you have not signed up yet for this class, get ready for the next classes. And keep posting because you are making me better along with all the other "GTC Types"
Can’t wait to see my older friends and meet the new ones. So, Good fortune to all of you in and out of the Casino’s.
And Practice-Practice-Practice !!

May I ask, TC, exactly what and how do you practice your grip? C or U grip?
And why your grip may be so not-consistent for you to practice so much?
Please enlighten us, as to exactly what your grip looks like.
Appreciate your answer. Thanks.

Grip is where it all begins and ends. As I have said in class if the grip is not perfect the odds of having a good toss decrease tremendously. Every once in a while one will have a good toss or even a few in a row.
But-BUT- in the long run you will not be successful and most say the GTC does not work. those who practice grip do know better.
95 % of my practice is Grip.
When we start a refresher class what are the first few things I look at.
Set up
Squaring
Centering
Grip
Toss
Notice what is last and this is what most look at first.

With due respect, you haven’t answered my questions.
All on this board would benefit from your take on the topic.
Can we hold our breath in anticipation?
Thanks in advance.

This is an individual thing.
Dom uses a High top edge C grip, I can not, I use a mid-point U grip. What is good for you? I don’t know but I can figure it out in a class or a Tune-up.
This is something that needs work and it is not easy to figure out.
If this does not help give me a call, I put my phone number in another post today.

C grip or U grip.

Finesse, this statement you made seems simple enough, but it literally made worlds of difference for me. After reading this and rereading my notes from my primer class, i realized that i was using more of a C grip when i should have been using more of a U grip, based on the critiques you gave me. Ive been focused on using a U grip more, and while its a small sample of about 800 rolls, my SRR has gone from 6.2 in 5000+ previous rolls to 7.1 in those 800 rolls (yes, i know i need a sample 5-7 times larger to get a more accurate idea of my SRR). What i have noticed, however, is that i double pitch MUCH less than before, and my dice are on axis more. In addition, my primary hits have gone up about 20%.
I cant wait for my refresher class in AC. Not only will i get to see everyone, but im fully confident that my throw will improve leaps and bounds again!
