This was not the norm, but more of a peculiar rare incident while at the table. there was a toss I had where I swear the dice didn’t even bounce, but kinda just stuck there on the table and died 2-5 inches away from the wall. As soon as I saw that I apologized right away, not really sure what I just saw.
and another shot not too far off, similar thing, but one die ‘died’ and the other continued to bounce and hit the wall… no one was sweating me too hard, but still not something I want happening again if i can fix it here.
Like I said, this was not the norm, most of my shots were proper in hitting the wall. just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

You were probably using new or relatively unused dice which would have fairly sharp edges. The table conditions were also most likely conducive to that type of "kill shot".
To prevent it under those conditions you should lower the arc slightly and impart a bit more forward energy to the dice.
But that does not mean the same thing would happen to you on every table. Each table has different properties and conditions. You need to be able to adjust your shot accordingly to get the proper reaction that you are trying to accomplish.
