This guy reminds me of many business consultants I have met over time. Some are intelligent, helpful and provide a valuable service. But far too many are only good at talking, using a lot of words when fewer would do and justify their high fees by the amount of empty bluster they produce.

His talk on surveillance makes no sense whatsoever. Surveillance is responsible for protecting the casino from crime. It sounds like he wants to change it into some kind of marketing arm of the casino. Then having done that his future surveillance experts will somehow magically detect crime by themselves without looking for it. It will somehow appear to them as they go about doing their new job trying to figure out ways for the casino to make more money.

The interview on advantage play vs. cheating was a bit more interesting. Although once again he says a lot that could be summarized in a lot fewer sentences than he uses to explain himself. I was disappointed in that he did not discuss advantage play as much as he did a few scams that have been exposed more recently. But that is the direction the interview went.
