Laughlin trip report

Spread the love

Short but interesting visit to Laughlin this week with just two rolls/sessions. First roll around 12 rolls and the second roll in the mid twenties. Colored up after the second roll plus $143. I left due to the weirdest heat from a woman stick person. It was 11:00 a. m. I was the only one on the table with two female dealers. When I arrived they were set to roll from the right and I asked if they wouldn’t mind switchng ends. After some drop dead looks the dealer across the table moved to the opposite end. Then just as I was starting to roll my first roll the woman on stick hollers out "oh you must have watch that video, you are going to lose your money just like all the rest of them".
And then it started, She pushed the dice at me and bent over the table doing these like chicken pecking moves starring at the dice with her head lowered over the table. Then she would stand up straight while I was aiming and bang her stick hard against the table. I quit tipping in short fashion as this woman was over the top. The other woman just starred at me and kept sliding my winning to me. I almost hit the woman on stick in the head with my hand several times and once had to pull my forward swing to keep from hitting her. When I sevened out I had my bets off as I knew my rolls were failing. Pulled my bet down, colored up told them I thinked I had all the fun I could stand for the morning and left. All I can figure is that this dealer was once marrried to a dice setter that left her in a motel in Needles and dissapeared. Or something worse.

I know what table you were on.

Everytime I go there, these two start talking to themselves about dice control and
make snide remarks….. nothing ever changes.. except last year the larger one
smelled so bad we had to get off the table.

Across the road at the green place they wont even allow you to set the dice at all. The first
day of our first trip there last year they said they would set the dice for me, So they did, but I had
to throw very quick, and I threw lower so it looked a little different, had a 38 roll so next time I cam back
then I could not throw again.

I don’t find 3 of the tables in Laughlin there playable, the two 14 footers they watch you like a hawk, and then there is the
green place.

So we stay there and I run up to vegas early in the morning to play.

Gman, smart man to head to Vegas. It is only a short ride up there. Laughlin is off our list for now. What is sad about all of this is the fact that you two were probably the only 2 tipping the dealers, yet they still give us hell. Guess they will have to learn to live on the minimum wage they are paid.

Gman funny you should mention staying at the Green Place as I get a kick out of using free rooms there and not dropping a dime in that place. I would play at the Age of …………. place again but not if I saw these two dealers. I have not had any real heat from any of the dealers or the box people there. I stay in Laughlin for work in Needles which makes it convenient verse driving up to Vegas for the limited time I have. But I may drive up next trip if time permits. Hitting Vegas soon then off to Albuquerque the week of the 20th for work. Going to work on adjusting my throw to the table west of town. Seem like the two tables they have play differently?

It’s all about the practice, practice and practice..

Can any of you imagine in your business life treating a client or customer as rudely as this casino did? 😈

What are they thinking! With so much competition now in the casino world, don’t they know that we will just go somewhere else to play without the hassle and the smell? Can’t imagine they really lose all that much money to dice setters or DI’s. With there automatic built in edge and the variance of the dice they surely win more than they lose. If players are following the rules of the game and not acting unpleasantly they should be welcomed with open arms!

Sorry for the rant but I just can’t understand this in an industry that is based on customer satisfaction to make a living.

getagrip, You are so right. Rose and Doc truly believe that we actually make money for the casino when we plan because we attract the chicken feeders to the table who make the terrible bets. Just our humble opinion.

Rose is dead on about that . How many times have any of us started at an empty table and look up to see more players there .They come out of the wood work .
I myself like empty tables for a while .
It is just strange to me when there are other players at table but they do not want to roll .I get no heat when I roll there but I do bet small and tip when I roll .I don’t play at green place but did stay there awhile back .I tried to talk to them about other things then craps but all I got was heat from first roll to last period .They do not need my money period .
Go were you feel good for if you don’t like it you will roll bad .
I like Laughlin but that is up to you to decide .I stopped playing at a lot of the casinos there for different reasons .
I will be going there next week on a short trip .
Good Rolling. 🙂 🙂
