Tonight at 6:00 pm GTC alumni lost one of the best people we have had the chance to get to know, Lois of Lois and Clark, – Janet passed away this evening after a long hard battle. Janet fought long and hard over the last few years with blood disorders, infections, blindness and a variety of other physical disorders, in response to her blood problems. After many, many days of transfusions, treatments, pain, suffering and some amazing come backs she left this world in the arms of her love and life long partner Larry.
I will never forget her kindness, cheerful nature and her roll. Whether it was getting off the walker or out of the wheel chair and leaning up on the table or directed as to where to aim, she never lost her form, and desire to get it right when she let lose of the dice. She was a very special person.
Lois and Clark are not members on the GTC blog at this time but I will be glad to forward any comments, condolences and farwells that any of you whom knew her and/or Larry might like to post. One really sweet Lady has left us behind for better tables, I’m sure. In honor of the love they had for each other do something special for the one you love tonight.
She was the best!

Please express my sadness to Larry upon hearing of his loss. I know Janet went thru a lot with her illness in the past few years. The stories of her being able to shoot craps even though she could barely stand and could not see are a credit to her strength and amazing nature. Logically she is in a better place, but the heart can not comprehend the loss. I offer my condolences to Larry and his family.

I am so sorry to hear this. I had the pleasure of meeting Lois and Clark in Vegas in a random, chance meeting. I had just taken the Primer course inMemphis the week before. As I was trying to follow the principles of the toss I heard a whisper behind me, "he’s a GTC’er". After I sevened out, which didn’t take too long Lois took the dice. She had trouble seeing them and took a while to set and throw but she proceeded to have a 30+ session and showed me what was possible.
Afterward we spent a few minutes away from the table discussing my toss, encouraging me, and telling me great stories of times spent with other GTC’ers. I only met her once but will remember her forever
Rest in peace Lois. My prayers for your family.

Oh, so sorry to hear this. I have played with Lois and Clark a few times. They even hosted a cozy BBQ and practice session. Such Wonderful people. So sorry Larry.
While playing with Clark, with Lois rolling, she won the "All Small, All Tall, All or Nothing At All" prop bet for all of us. Now she is playing with all our friends in Heaven and watching out for us. RIP Lois.

Larry I was sorry to hear of Janet’s passing. I enjoyed meeting both you and her in Atlantic City a few years ago where we had a lot of fun. I remember she always set for the hard sixes and loved to play. She will surely be missed. My prayers are with you and your family.

Larry I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I know you two were inseparable. I enjoyed meeting you both, enjoying a meal together, and playing a few rounds together.
Janet will still be watching over all of us. She was a great person with a smooth throw.
God bless you both

Larry, You have my deepest sympathy. you and Janet always showed me great kindness when I came out there. I always had fun with the two of you whether it was during a meal. or playing at the same table. Even when Janet had trouble of seeing the dice, I was amazed at her ability to have such great control of the dice. I was also amazed at the pit bosses that allowed you to set her dice for her when she couldn’t see, then listen to you tell her what she threw and watch her modify her throw to take the previous results into account. Hope you and I can still get together for craps on my next visit to Vegas
