Craps

i got the ticket

Spread the love

I have now played this game for about 44 years, and I have won every session since I was 22 ( laughing) well lets just say I have
won a couple of times since I was 22 which may be more accurate.

I have taken classes on throwing with different levels of success after them and have
invested thousands of hours of practice, The result has been a mixture of "now I really got this" to a few hundred dice
holes in the wall in my practice room. I have narrowed down the problem areas to only a couple, but that’s like saying
I now understand the reason I don’t have any hair is because I have gotten much older.

Having said all this I made a discovery last night. I found that I can extend my rolls significantly by just turning on
the best of the Bee Gees as loud as I can when I practice. The difference is fantastic, plus my dancing has
improved in just one night.

What I still cant figure out is why I have had such good results at home and Saturday night after a Bee Gees (Australian) concert
I did awful on the table, however I was so disgusted I went to slots and won much more than I lost.

So now I know for sure that Bee Gees music is the ticket, I just have to figure out what train it is for.

Gman,

I, for myself, comiserate. Is that the word?

And note that you do run into CF’s having monster rolls at times.
Try throwing with your non-throwing hand,
and you will (not may) find you have better rolls,
better that your usual under 6.0 SRR in practice sessions.

That makes us Randies, in reality.
But we go on hoping, and do fruitless practicing, cementing
our faults which may very well be in our bones.

grease is the word

I saw my problems and I’ll see the light
We got a lovin’ thing, we gotta feed it right
There ain’t no danger we can go too far
We start believin’ now that we can be who we are, grease is the word

and dice is the game….now where is the train

Gman,

There’s a poet inside you yet,
Maybe that’s where your talent lies,
Not so much in throwing the dice.
Wouldn’t that be a better bet?

Well life takes you strange directions that is for sure. I know in the hours I have practiced dice throwing I would have been
a real good bowler, and a much better golfer, I could have gotten another masters and my wife says I could have
learned to wash clothes…

But in the end, I don’t like bowling , golf or washing clothes as much as i do playing craps… so i will have to
continue on the path i am on.. i will endure…atleast until my wife takes a GTC class and gets better than
i obviously am….. then i am going golfing…… 😆 😆 😆

I had one of my better casino rolls while the DJ was playing a series of bad 80’s music. Missing Persons, Flock of Seagulls, The Outfield. Weird since musically that was such a wasted decade.

I think it helped because it got my brain out of my way. I wasn’t thinking about my swing, only the target.

there’s the key

the old music takes us back, and we relax and think of good times instead of being mechanical…

"getting out of your own way"

good rolling…
