Practice payed off

Spread the love

Haven’t played to often since taking my first golden touch class early this year, but have been practicing on my practice table. My wife and I just went to Puerto Rico and did really well down there . I had some really big rolls 45min to and hour 3 nights in a row. At first pit crew was giving me a hard time about hitting the back wall but after placing a a few hard way bets for the dealers and hitting them they left me alone and started to cheer me on. We returned to the same casino and they were happy to see us even some of the same players from the night before were there who where locals were happy to see us. They actually asked the player at stick left to move so I could have the same spot as the night before. I’m happy to say I did very well not on my first few passes but the players from the night before insisted I through the dice and kept letting me shoot to make a long story short on the 3rd or forth time I had my best roll off my life maybe and hour we made money and so did every one on the table once again I made two 5 dollar bets for the dealer on the hard 4 and 10 and repeatedly hit them. Practice pays off thanks golden touch I plans to take the refresher in ac next year.

Tipping is a great way to go but hitting the wall is not giving you a bad time it is doing there job, but playing the gtc way sure helped bail you out, great job.

Great report. And yes what we teach–the throw, betting techniques, and tipping to name a few tiems –does work. Not every single trip but in the long run you will do well.

Hope to see you in a refresher course next year.

As I’ve often heard, "The more I practice the lucker I get"

Hey Big Jim,

So happy you kept up with it and did great in PR! I just did the refresher in LV and it helped so much. We might be teammates again in AC. Looking forward to hearing more of your adventures in craps.

Best,

Thanks for the great trip report and yes winning is the most fun ever. The long rolls where you lose track of time and space are the best. My wife and I are looking to head to PR for Spring break and would appreciate any recommendations. I will send you a message.
