So a company named Brookfield Asset Management who runs the Hard Rock Las Vegas and Atlantis Paradise Island has won the auction of the Revel Hotel and Casino. Picking up the property for a steal at $110 million, they plan on renaming and reopening as a casino as soon as possible.

Actually the company is Brookfield Property Partners LP (BPY on the NTSE) . BPY was split off from Brookfield Assett Management of Toronto.
