Very quick trip report

Spread the love

So I had a meeting at a hotel about 10 minutes away from a casino in Connecticut which is about 2 hours from my house. After the meeting, I stopped in knowing I was only going to stay for an hour. 10x odds which is great for come betting. Vigs on wins only. 12 foot tables Nd friendly dealers. All good conditions. I happen to be throwing from stick left today as right was taken. First roll was a point -7. Second roll was a point – 2 – 7. WTF??? Third roll was better. High teens. Fourth roll such strange things happened. I was into high 20’s when I threw one die off the table. I NEVER do that. I request same dice. After 4 minutes of searching, I get new dice. The stick man removes the two extra dice and as I’m setting them, the box man tells him to bring the dice back to the middle. WTF? Turns out I had a tiny little cut on my cuticle and there was the tiniest drop of blood. Box man says I need to go get a band aid. I said I was in the middle of the roll but he insisted. So they held the entire table up while I ran to security to get a freakin bandaid. I come back to the table and the stick is about to hand me the dice when there is a stick change. I’m getting really ticked off. New stick man hands me the dice with the 6-1 showing. I turn to him and said "REALLY???" He brings them back to the middle, flipped them over and the. Send them back to me. I had come bets of $20 with $200 odds on the 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10. 8 was my point. I also had a $150 place bet on the 6 and a $125 place bet on the 9. It has literally been 10 minutes since I threw the dice last. I am totally bedazzled. I take all my odds down, my place bets down and hop the 7’s for $50 each. Pick up the dice and flung them down the table and hit the 6-1. 7 OUT. I turned to the stick mand and yelled HA! Was the best 7 out ever. Collected all my money, hit the cashier and left.

Was just soooooo strange of a trip. I never come off like that but just felt the need to that time. anyway, looking forward to seeing you all in two weeks.

Fun story. A great read. Funny and stupid things do happen in the casino—always has, always will. Congtrats on the win.

Rose and Doc look forward to seeing you soon.

Thanks for the trip report Midnight. I have to believe the cut was on your throwing hand. I’m sure you don’t practice with a band aid on one of your fingers used in the throw. Smart move on your part to remove the odds and place bet. Smarter yet to hop the 7’s. YEAH !!! 😀

Catch you later! 😎

Cut was actually on my left hand and I throw with my right. But he said that any open cut at the table they would have to close the table down because of health reasons. Crazy but it all worked out so I’m happy.

Midnight, something similar happened to be a couple of years ago. I saw some blood on one of my $1 white chips and asked for a tissue and bandaid. I had a small cut on my finger. The play came to a complete halt. Out of nowhere a security guard–a woman–showed up with a bandaid, some sanitizing solution and rags. The small cut was cleaned by her—wearin rubber gloves no less. Then the chips were counted–again rubber gloves. The chip rail where I has standing was cleaned as well as each chip.

We were moved to another table, the table opened, new chips counted out for each player, all of our bets on the table were placed on the new table and I was pushed the dice. This took well over 30 minutes. I took down my place bets and most of my odds on come and pass line bets. You might say my concentration was broken. Two rolls and 7 out. I have no idea where the cut came from. Interestlingly enough I made a little money although the roll was a short one 12 to 14 rolls. Probably made the most money by taking my bets down!!!

Great story

In the casinos defense they can not mess around with the possibility that ANY bodily fluids are being exchanged at the table.

AIDS, Hepatitis, even Ebola etc… Is a danger

Anyway glad you won
