Video Poker Questions from a Novice

I have really been enjoying my foray into VP as a second casino game and I have some questions.

First, do any of you have betting strategies for the game? I don’t mean the strategy cards. Those are everywhere. I mean betting progressions, regressions, etc. I am well versed in different systems for pressing and so forth in craps, but have found almost nothing in the literature about when and how to increase your bets and/or cut your losses. On my own, with JOB, I have been experimenting with putting $200 into a $1 machine, playing a 5 unit max until I am up $50 or lose $100. If I Iose $100, I leave the machine for other pursuits for a while. Once I’m up $50, I stop loss at $25 to be sure I leave with at least a $25 profit. As the profit goes up, I trail the stop loss, like in the stock market, with a 50% win guarantee. Is this a good approach?

Second, I went to the VPFree site, and could not find any full pay Deuces Wild games in the whole town. Am I missing a correct abbreviation somewhere?

Also, I’ve got a Kindle Fire that I want to download games to practice. Do any of you know about where I can find apps for the many poker games out there, for practice.

Thanks.

Alamo Tx – It is about playing enough hands to get a RF. It is the 4000 coin payout that makes up for a lot of loosing sessions and gets the long term return to 99.54% if you are playing JoB. The more hands you can play per hour correctly the more RF you get.

I typically play until I loose my VP session bankroll. It is all about playing correctly to maximize the number of hands you can play until you get the RF or 4 deuces or 4 aces w/kicker depending on the game you are playing.

Here is a link about RF cycles

I think FPDW is very hard to find unless you are off strip in LV. NSUD is more common.

Email me your phone number thru the site and I’ll be happy to answer any questions.
